Long story short, joined a 32 team IDP startup 2 years ago and fell in love. The pool was super-realistic, everything you would do as an NFL owner you did in this league. Salary cap that mirrors the NFL, moves as the NFL's does, rookie draft, contracts, compensation picks, taxi-squad and ability to steal other teams TS guys, etc, etc.

Problem was the commissioner quit after 1 year and the guy that took over dropped the ball repeatedly. I've got no choice but to try and create my own masterpiece, lol.

Full constitution is still being hammered out but here are some of the details:

- 32 teams, 2 conferences, 1 player pool per conference

- divisions and team cities to mirror the NFL - want to own the Pittsburgh what-cha-ma-call-its? Go ahead.

- 53 player roster

- 22 starters, 11 offense and 11 defense

- practice squad

- balanced scoring

- victory point scoring, no longer cry the blues about putting up the 2nd highest score of the week and losing, here you get VPs for not only your win/loss record but your weekly points as well

- salary cap that mirrors the NFL

- chance to resign your free agents via random number generator, chance of signing depends on players salary, point total from previous years, you can choose to offer him more or less money and your chance of resigning moves up or down

- franchise/transition tags

- playoffs to mirror the NFL

- tiered prize money, win your division and break even on the season

- one stop shop for football, confidence pool, elimination pool, use your regular season roster for a combined playoff pool, etc, etc

Basically I want to make this the be-all and end-all of fantasy football. The constitution is being worked on, send me a PM or email at tuff.commish@hotmail.com for any questions. I am flexible on certain things regarding the setup of the pool, looking for active, quality owners and will form a dialog with you. Have your say on the future of the best league there will be.

Haven't decided on a buy in but would be $100-$200 range. I'll set a due date once teams start filling up, getting a lot of interest already.

Nothing would be started until all teams are paid.

I'll get a league calendar setup once I get close to filling the league.

Funny you should ask, I'm trying to come up with a draft/auction hybrid. Basically there's a draft for say 5 rounds where salaries are set, then it switches to auction for the rest.

Trying to work out some details tonight while watching the game.

So,have you put together your scoring system yet? Also, how many teams do you still have available? I definitely have interest here and would like to get as many details as possible first. Please let me know.

Bumping this up.

Pretty good interest going so far, looking for more dedicated owners. Got an update on the constitution I can send out if you send me an email or PM.

Would like to join up of the buy in is closer to $200

And the Super Bowl champ takes home at least 50-55% of the yearly pot.

Giving this another bump. Put a pretty good dent in filling this up, feels like we got some dedicated owners.

Shoot me a PM or email for any details.

Giving this another bump. Got 21 owners so far, need 11 more. Lots of interest just need people to confirm and we'll be full.

Teams left:

Miami

Cincy

Cleveland

Jack

Oakland

San Diego

Minny

Atlanta

Carolina

Arizona

St Louis

I might be interested if this changes. Really don't see why you'd have a draft for the best players and auction the rest.
