I went With Gronk for the first pick b/c, if you can't beat em join em - I want some of that Cheatin' BS garbage on my side for once.....

Note - Anyone can PM me picks if they won't be around much...

Guess it was too much to hope that he'd fall to #5

I suspect he'll fall more in other drafts later this off-season, but he's one of the safer bets in the 1st (barring injury).

Fairly happy with Lacy, one of the top young backs in the league. He should just be entering his prime while others in his tier are declining.

Excited to get Forte at 7. Was planning on Brown, but I still think Forte has plenty left for this type of format, and couldn't pass him up.

Brown seemed like an exceptional value. DT looks good too. Really not any bad draft positions thus far.

I was excited to see Brown for my pick when I got home from work. I left a list of 6 players with Reaper and Brown was at the top of that list.

I was very tempted to go with Brown or Forte at 1.4 instead of Murray. But he did catch a lot of passes this year, and I'm hoping the Cowboys include him even more next year in the passing game.

Those two and Graham were on my short list but Lacy gets catches, there's a fair chance he gets more involved next year, top running backs are hard to find and Forte is nearing 30.

You can't be upset with Calvin at pick 15.
when making my list, I have 18 players in my tier 1. Really don't see a huge drop off from 1.01 to 2.01 this year in redraft. It's entirely possible McCoy does better than Bell this year.

Reminder.... Seems like some of us did not PM the next guy....

Also - I'll be around all day and night for PM's of picks... keep em coming..

I have a feeling that I will be owning Calvin in a lot of leagues this year if this is a sign of things to come. I get that owners were frustrated with him this year, but I would still take a healthy Megatron over any WR other than Antonio. If he is a mid-second rounder in 12-team PPR leagues, I will not be able to pass on that.

1.11 Antonio Brown WR PIT

2.06 A.J. Green WR CIN

I can't complain about this start. A.J. Green was banged up this season if he can stay healthy all next season Brown and Green could be a really good round 1 & 2 pick.

just be sure you pick up Roddy White and Justin Blackmon in the next two rounds. ;)

Ingram at 2.14?!

Something I don't know....?
I admit to not being a consistent group-think guy, but MI was 2014's #14 RB (total points) in this format while missing 3 games. With 5 of the guys ahead of him turning 29 or 30 this year and he being 25 and completely healthy, I think he's top 12 if he stays in NO and higher if he goes somewhere they really need a lead dog. Sorry if I startled you.

that's entirely possible. He's worth considering up here, some of us just have a mental block against him due to his first couple of seasons.

Too bad this isn't a dynasty league, I'd like my Lacy / Hopkins / Kelce start more in a dyno format. Hopefully Reid takes the off season to realize that TK is his 2nd best player on offense.

Regretting C.J. Anderson in the 2nd now. Didn't want to start RB-RB but decided to just take my highest ranked available, regardless of position. It was close with him, Sanders, and Evans, and I should have seen that a mini-run on WR was coming and taken one of the two.

I completely understand where the mistrust comes from, but he's developed into a 225 carry, 4.3 ypc guy with a role in the passing game and is only 25 (while Thomas is 30). He's not a stud, but I don't think he's your daddy's Mark Ingram any more either. We'll see. I'm wrong more often that right.

I probably wouldn't have passed on him at 2.12

I almost took him at 2.03

3.9 Josh Gordon WR Cle
3.11 Carlos Hyde RB 49ers
I debated for about 20 minutes this morning between these two and Kelce. Gordon's one of those picks who could almost win this thing for you or be a waste. Hyde has real potential, his stock will probably rise by August.
I think Hyde will be the starter in SF this next season so as long as he stays healthy he could be a real good get in the back half of the 3rd round. *crosses fingers*

With Peterson at 1.9 and Gordon at 3.9 this is definitely a sink or swim roster so far. However, the one time I won one of these was the year after AD blew out his knee and everyone was afraid of him. That year I took him in the 3rd if I remember right and rode him all the way to a win.

I like the Lamar Miller and Josh Gordon picks.... I'd be fine with those 2 over my guys - Marshall and Sanders..

Eddie Lacy

Alfred Morris

DeAndre Hopkins

Travis Kelce

Truly did not expect or seek Alfred Morris in the 4th but he's too solid a #2 to pass on here. Understand why others have passed on him so far, he doesn't have the upside of other backs taken recently - Gio, Gurley, Tre, Ellington, etc. BUT his downside is a whole lot less than those guys. Figure Hopkins and Kelce have more upside than safety and Alf balances that out a bit.

Thought about going with Latavius Murray at 4.13 but decided that another Wr here was more important than a 2nd RB. And I really expect Bryant to at least double his production from this year. He was overshadowed at Clemson by Watkins but I think he is just as good as Watkins and has a far superior QB.

I'm glad you did - go Bryant over Murray - although Martavis is a great young talent in a system that should only grow more balanced with Brown as Byrant develops.

When 4.04, 4.05 and 4.06 went Bennett, Mason, Landry, that wiped out my top 3 remaining players. It felt like the talent pool shuddered and dropped.

Eddie Lacy

Alfred Morris

DeAndre Hopkins

Torrey Smith

Travis Kelce
Smith is one of the last receivers I have in his tier, though 14 was a down year for him.

Content with my start but now it gets interesting.

Since my last pick, 13 RBs were taken from 24 picks, leaving the cupboard almost bare. I'll take a shot with Forsett, who will hopefully sign a team friendly contract with the Ravens who gave him an opportunity in 2014.

Russell Wilson QB8 6.06

Carlos Hyde RB14 SF 3.11

Jerick McKinnon RB28 MN 5.11

Antonio Brown WR2 PIT 1.11

A.J. Green WR8 CIN 2.06

Jarvis Landry WR28 MIA 4.06

I really like my WR core. It's a very solid 3. I also like getting Russell Wilson in the 6th round as QB8.

My RB's are my biggest question marks. I really like Hyde and McKinnon but in order for this to work Gore and Peterson need to go elsewhere or I will be in big trouble at RB.

I figured by not taking a QB in the 5th I would miss out on the QB run, and I did. Was hoping to get Romo or Rivers and just missed on both. Hoping Tannehill continues to improve.

Browns WR Josh Gordon flunked another drug test and now will be subject to a one-year banishment, per league sources. More on ESPN @ 6 pm.

Yikes
well that timing sucks
Yes it does. However, I have a long standing rule to stay away from players like this. You never know when they might fail another drug test.
that's prudent.

I took him in w3, but don't own him in any "real" league.

Oof, I just noticed that you took Josh Gordon a couple of hours ago in WSL3. That's a bummer.

Yep

and I had just searched news on him with nothing other than Indy was interested in signing him.

LOL, Was just coming here to cry the he screwed up my team already....lol. Knew I was taking a chance when I took him, just hoping he might have figured it out. Once a stoner always a stoner.

I searched a ton of news and found nothing about an alcohol restriction. Wish these reporters would spend more time reporting facts then reporting speculation.
