Strong group of owners, many original since we started 8 years ago. League designed to maintain competitiveness and help struggling and rebuilding teams become competitive quickly. As evidence by last years results, with 2 previous season cellar-dwellers in the championship!
* Rookie/FA draft is always after the 3rd preseason game, so that early picks have a better chance to pay off.
* Waivers are worst-to-first to help struggling teams gets shots at difference-making Free Agents.
* We only start 9 -- 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 K, 1 D -- to ensure that less deep rosters can compete.
