I thought Shady could potentially be a cut casualty due to his contract + down year last year, but still. This is crazy. I'd looooove to see Chip sign CJ Spiller and put him in space.

 
Surprised Rex did this. Thought he'd strengthen an already strong defense. Good news for the Pats? I was worried Revis might be recruited heavily by Rex.

Honestly, the way the Bills utilized Spiller and Fred Jackson makes me think Mccoys production might actually go up.

If Kiko is good to go off of that ACL I see why they did this. Chip thinks his system will make anyone a star and he may be right, especially since McCoy wasn't earning that paycheck last year. $10M for a RB is dumb in today's NFL.

Opposite side, Rex Ryan believes he can make that defense tick without Kiko and loves having a bellcow RB to protect his young, terrible QB.

Win-win trade of two really good players, if rarely seen in the NFL.

This is really the best way to sum it up.

You know he lands in a place where he will get the large bulk of RB touches. However, I don't think this helps his value or production, but COULD hurt it a little. All in all, I still have Mccoy near the top of the dynasty RB rankings. Still right in the top 5 mix or just under.

What the Bills offensive staff did in the past is completely irrelevant. The HC is new, the OC (Greg Roman) is new.

And over the last few seasons I don't think anyone has utilized their RB's in the passing game less than Roman. That's not ideal for McCoy's value.

Agreed if they keep Fred and Bryce, especially Fred, he might actually get less of a percentage of RB touches than at Philly.

 
Spiller to Eagles would make this pretty interesting. If nothing else, it raises the value of the 3rd/4th RB in rookie drafts as I'm sure the Eagles will spend a day one or day 2 pick on a RB right?

And a much worse offensive line.

 
For this trade to have gone down I have to believe Spiller is already half way to NY to play for the Jets and his old OC right? That would make a lot of sense that the Bills already knew he was gone so they made this deal.
