JJ Watt Value (1 Viewer)

If sacks are 3 times what a tackle is worth, that isn't tackle heavy. It's more balanced, shading toward big play.

Is it a PPR league? Actually, the PPR thing is irrelevant. if I'm the Watt owner I hit the reject button on that immediately.
yes, balanced... and .5 ppr

What about I give

Mason, Tre STL RB

Hopkins, DeAndre HOU WR

Dunlap, Carlos CIN DE

Year 2016 Round 1 Draft Pick

Year 2016 Round 3 Draft Pick

I get

Smith, Alex KCC QB

Watt, J.J. HOU DE

It feels a lot to me and even though JJ is the man, I think I can win without him.
That's too much in my opinion.

seems fair but if I have JJ, I'm not giving him up without getting another cornerstone in return. I don't know if Hopkins quite fits that bill. How high is the 1st likely to be? Assuming it's yours and you're a strong contender, I likely pass.

The pick is from another team that is contending, so mid to late depending on how their season goes. Their team has issues.

That team gave me the 1st and 3rd picks for Latavius Murray. The deal on my end looks sort of like this:

I give

DeAndre Hopkins - 29

Latavius Murray - 8.5

Tre Mason - 3

Carlos Dunlap - 0

I get

JJ Watt - 45

Alex Smith - 0

I placed points by each player using the dynasty value charts. I'm giving Watt a valuation of a top 5 player (45). The total is I'm giving 40.5. I'm getting 45. I'd say it's fair for a championship team looking to rebuild after some bad luck. The only reason why I added Alex Smith to the deal is that he has a good match up the week of Tannehill's bye. Dalton plays the Seahawks. No thanks.

Being offered the following for JJ Watt in a Dynasty league:

Balanced IDP scoring btw...

Give:

JJ Watt (DE)

Get:

DeAndre Hopkins (WR)

2016 1st round pick (somewhere between 8-12)

2016 3rd round pick (same)

Thoughts, feedback, opinions?

As a Watt owner, I don't do that deal. Hopkins isn't a proven enough asset for me to trade Watt for.

Not a Watt owner, I'd happily give Hopkins+picks for Watt. You could get more from me for Watt, maybe try to counter his offer?

I would do it, assuming 1 per tackle and 3 per sack.

Posted this in the Assistant Coach, but not getting much response.....here's my potential deal involving Watt (1pt/tackle and assist, 5pts/sack, 6pts/Int, 6pts/FR.....offense is standard non-ppr with 6pts per passing TD)

I get Andrew Luck, Julio Jones and Gerald McCoy for Russell Wilson, DeAndre Hopkins and JJ Watt. Hopkins is pretty much my #1 receiver.....I really have 2 #2's as I have him and Emmanuel Sanders. My DL would then be Ninkovich, Dareus and McCoy

Also, this is a keeper league where we keep 4 players per season.

Thanks for any opinions!

Make that trade! You get Andrew Luck for the next 8-10 years, plus a huge upgrade at WR. That's worth the drop to McCoy, no question in my mind.

Houston Texan DE JJ Watt has a broken hand.

I'm sure he'll play because JPP is playing with his horric injury but Peirre Paul has had trouble wrapping up with his huge cast. I'm not sure how this might effect Watt but it makes sense that it might be more difficult for him to wrap up making tackles or in getting sacks.

Not practicing again today J.J. Watt (broken hand) Brian Cushing (hip) Jadeveon Clowney (hamstring) Brian Hoyer (concussion)

He broke it last Wednesday before the Partiots game.

Seems to have affected his play considering his production in the six games before he broke his hand.

Over the six games before he broke his hand J.J. Watt produced:

- 9.5 sacks

- 31 tackles

For an average of 1.58 sacks and 5.16 tackles per game.

Against the Pats he had:

- 0 sacks

- 3 tackles
