Since there is only so much NFL Draft news you can discuss, here is a breakdown of fantasy points per touch on a team basis over the past few seasons.
Obviously there are a lot of factors that go into how well a team does to fuel fantasy RB production (talent of RB, scheme, health, OL, game planning, opposition, use of specialists in the red zone or 3rd down, workload, involvement in passing game, etc.).
Over the years, I have found this type of data useful in drafting or rostering backs from environments that are conducive to putting up fantasy numbers should injuries hit or situations change.
To clarify, the teams are ranked on a three year "average." However, it is only an average of each year's average, NOT the actual average for 1200-1500 touches over that time. (For example, in baseball if a player hit .250, .275, and .300, I am listing his average season as .275. In reality, with a different number of at bats, his actual average would not be .275.)
