I am starting a fresh keeper league and currently have 8 owners lined up for it. Looking to get to 12, but will go with 10 if need be.
Keeper system is structured as a keep 5 vets and 2 rookies league from year to year (keeping less nets you extra draft picks). The 5 vets are broken down into 3 franchise players and 2 draft compensation players. Salaries are generated directly by a player's fantasy points, though there is no salary cap, salaries just used as an evaluation of a player's draft value. Franchise players are any salary; draft compensation players require yielding a draft pick to keep that player. Each team will have an allotment of 15 vet picks each year and will yield 2 of them for their draft compensation players (which is mandatory). Choosing to keep less than 3 franchise players nets you an extra first round pick at the end of the round for each not kept. Keeping less than 2 rookies yields an extra rookie pick after rookie draft round 2 for each.
Other basics of the league are PPR format, no bonus scoring, 22 man rosters, 12 man starting lineup featuring a superflex (option to start a 2nd QB) and slow draft. More details are on the league website www16.myfantasyleague.com/2015/home/61338 . Cost of league is $80, of which all but the MFL fee goes into the prize pool.
