Potential billions in future residuals. Had the divorce went through, she would have got but a tiny piece due to the prenup. Hubby dies, prenup void and wife gets it all.

You mean hundreds of thousands. Artists don't make much from album sales. The money is in touring.

Ummmm no.Shes worth around $150 million, thanks to the ownership stake in Nirvana she inherited when Kurt died, including his writing and publishing rights which were valued at $130 and $115 million, respectively.

She sold 25% of her rights back in 06 but still owns a nice chunk..she could bank big time if she wanted to. She was reportedly offered $6 million for 18 seconds of a Nirvana song but turned it down.

Watch this docuthingy and tell me he shot himself. There's no way. He had so much heroin in his system he wouldnt have been conscious, let alone able to operate a shotgun.

His heroin blood level was 1.52 mgs per liter. That means he injected at least 225 mgs of heroin, which is three times a lethal dose, even for a hardcore heroin addict. That much heroin would leave a person completely incapacitated or cause them to lapse into a coma if it didnt kill them instantly. Its not uncommon for those who OD on heroin to be found with the needle still in their arms. Thats how quickly one lethal dose can kill you. Kurt was somehow able to roll down his sleeves (he had injection marks in both arms), put his needle and spoon away, arrange the towels, then lie down on the ground and pull the trigger of a shotgun. Sure.

With this statement you officially relinquish all rights to have an opinion on this situation

sounds like one of those kennedy documentaries. you can present anything in that form with the music and everything and make it seem true. who tf knows exactly what happened? guy was wasted, had tried to kill himself the month before. he was f'd up and in pain. courtney had something to do with that but to think she had him killed is so unlikely. there was a conspiracy on the police force to shut the investigation down? no way.

If she wanted to kill him, why not wait until the next time he shot up and inject him with another lethal dose? Seems like the easiest murder ever.

Instead, OP believes that Courtney or an agent of hers shot Kurt with a shotgun and convinced everyone that it was a suicide.

Pretty much. Not sure why the shotgun though, the OD would have been enough and a lot less messy/risky.I did watch it high though...so I was like 'Woah' several times.

All I know is there's no way he could have that much heroin in his system and stay awake/coherent enough to put his heroin gear away, roll down his sleeves, get into position, and operate a shotgun. Theres no doubt in my mind there was foul play, and she had everything to gain by his death and would have lost everything had he stayed alive. Knowing you're inheriting an empire, you can afford to pay people to do dirty deeds.

Heroin addict has to be the easiest guy to kill - a little more heroin isn't going to show up on the autopsy and the heroin addict is in no position to fight back.

Are you discounting tolerance? Kurdt wasn't your average heroin user.

Three times the lethal dose, even for a hardcore addict. Courtney's involvement aside, that's a lot of smack for a guy his size.

I have had 40+ beers in one day, had coherent conversations before bed

It's much better than "Kurt and Courtney".

95% sure Courtney had him offed at this point, and I am the last guy who believes conspiracy theories.

Guess again.

Just watched. She's totally shady, and ironically her hiring of Grant (which I would imagine was intended to further her story as a concerned spouse given her views on his state of mind) brought about the circumstances that bring to light her possible involvement in his death. Shoddy police work leaves way too many unanswered questions. The dosage and the shell location make it extremely unlikely he pulled the trigger. In addition - is it possible that the Rome OD was a failed murder attempt as well? "Rohyphynol dissolved in champagne"?

She had 150 million reasons to want him dead.

Definitely some sketchy details in the case but no smoking gun. You know, other than...

IDK. I wanted to believe but it wasn't really anything more than conjecture.
