Once draft starts it will be here, Monday through Friday, 10 am PST to 7pm PST. Each drafter will have one hour to make picks. This may be shortened in later rounds if time permits. The clock is off on weekends, though anyone may make their pick at any time.

16 team league. 16 round draft. Each week, you must start: 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 3 RB/WR/TEs, 1 DEF, 1 K

Scoring:

Passing: 25 yards per point, 4 pts per TD, -1 for interception

Rushing: 10 yards per point, 6 pts for TD,

Receptions: 10 yards per point, 1 pt per reception, 6 pts for TD

General: -2 for fumbles lost, 2 pts for 2pt conversion, 6 for offensive fumble return TD

Kicking: 1 pt for PAT, 3 pts for 0-39 yards, 4 pts for 40-49 yards, 5 pts for 50+

Defense: 1 for sack, 2 for interception, 2 for fumble recovery, 6 for TD, 2 for safety, 2 for blocked kick, 6 for kickoff and punt return TDs, 10 for 0 pts, 7 for 1-6 pts, 4 for 7-13 pts, 1 for 14-20 pts, -1 for 28-34 pts, -4 for 35+ pts.

Waiver wire- each week in reverse order of standings, waiver time 2 days

Trades- to be approved by commissioner (only way I disapprove is obvious inequity) trades end Nov. 13

Playoffs: 6 teams. Top 2 get 1 week bye.

Since our commissioner from last year took off with everyone's money, (not sure if that was ever resolved?) we will be using a more traditional format this year. I am proposing simply using ESPN or some other site, standard rules, and League Safe to hold the monies. But I'm open to suggestion.

Unlucky was his name in this thread (I think he was known by another name elsewhere but I don't know it.) he both played in this league for 3 years straight and ran it out of his own website. The first 2 years were no problem. But last year he shut down and apparently didn't pay several leagues including ours. There was some talk of suing him but I don't know how it ended up.

In any case, this year I'll be the commissioner unless somebody else wants the job (I've never been an online commish before) We'll use League Safe and ESPN. Scoring will be standard except PPR. That's the plan anyhow. We'll start in two weeks time, though not until everyone has paid. Any thoughts or objections?

You guys don't remember the Phenom's fiasco from last year?

He claimed he had over $600k in software design bills. Most people in his leagues felt he squandered the money on personal items and gambling before it finally caught up with him. But he did declare bankruptcy. I don't think anything criminal ever came of it.

What are the time limits to pick? The two week start date could pose issues for me due to work schedule.

That's not unreasonable, I just have a particularly busy work week the week of 8/10. Normally at work I can pop in here every couple of hours while that week I probably can't.

Bump- we have 8 so far, could use up to 8 more.

Bump. We still have 8 players in. We can go with that, but anybody else interested? Times a wasting.

Let me know if you get to an odd number. I've got a buddy who doesn't frequent the boards, but has mentioned interest in playing this league if a slot is available.

We've got at least a month. We'll fill. No problem.

Eta- don't take this as any objection to LAJ's buddy. I've never met him and already like him more than most of you.
