Eyes of the Guru Series (2 Viewers)

Jeron JOHNSON is the SS mentioned in the NFC East Eyes of the Guru for the Washington Redskins. Norton calls him Jeron Carter throughout the article and then doesn't even mention him below.

Trying not to let it taint my opinion of the series because I think it is excellent work, just trying to understand how the name is missed when he's got a decent chance of being the starting SS.

Pump your brakes SeanTaylor21. I'm sure it was just an honest mistake. I'm sure he will get it corrected as soon as he notices his mistake.

agreed BucksFan02.....don't think people realize sometimes how easy it can be to forget to add someone on a list. Some people think well, "because they forgot them, perhaps they don't know what they are talking about, or they aren't taking the work serious." Norton knows what he's talking about and if you look at his work, he clearly takes it serious and puts a lot to time into what he puts out.

I have NO problem with the work myself.

Thanks for the response guys. Let me reiterate from above: Trying not to let it taint my opinion of the series because I think it is excellent work, just trying to understand how the name is missed when he's got a decent chance of being the starting SS.

I certainly understand the good, quality effort it takes to create the content... just stating I don't want a scratch on my Cadillac.

Edit: I've busted Dr. Jene's balls in the past as well; I think last year he had "Chase" Borland through an entire article. No love lost and it was corrected as soon as I brought it to his attention.

Despite my love for him, it still took me months to convince my brain of the difference between Chase and Chris. Now, he's retired.

John loves Phillip Thomas. I think "Carter" was a typo, but I agree that John is underrating Johnson here. I don't see him listed in his projections yet either.

One of the best things about John is how quickly and comprehensively he responds to emails asking him about player situations. That's the route I'd take here.

Yes try contacting writers first because more often than not these are typos or simple mistakes.

Thanks, Gene- I apologize to John. I want to make sure it is understood no I'll intent here.

I like Phillip Thomas a lot too but I think Johnson is the dark horse of the group. I feel this Safety position will be a stat stuffer under the new regime.

No worries. No thin skin in this IDP group. Just know that John doesn't get into the Forum often and he'll be more available by email. Not trying to shunt conversation elsewhere or keep anyone else from reading John's thoughts.

Hahahaha my medicine doesn't taste so good. Worst part is I got it right above.

To further discuss the content...I am interested in John's take that Earl Wolff will end up a starter in PHI when he has been pretty bad when he gets on the field and they are already using Thurmond as the other safety next to Jenkins. I know they are thin in general at the position but as I Philly homer I've seen nothing to inspire confidence that Wolff is any more than a back-up and not a very dependable one.

Also interested in this. As much as it appeared to be Wolff's job to lose going into the offseason, Thurmond and his 'Duckness' is intriguing in what is another decently productive Safety position.
