I think it would depend on league scoring. Buccanon will have a very high floor but he doesn't make any big plays. He gets tons of tackles so a heavy tackle league he is the choice.
If you are in a big play league Burnett might have the advantage but it's still tough to give up the extremely high floor that Buccanon provides.

Both guys are favorites of mine. Rostered both of them last year and and Burnett for several years. Right now, I would go with Bucannon for sure.
Burnett hasn't been able to get healthy this season and was nicked up again in the Packers game yesterday. Bucannon is younger, healthier and playing LB... I'll take that.
And as a long time Burnett owner, I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with Gally on the big play part. They are a push in that area too. Burnett rarely makes big plays (had no more than 1 INT, FR, FF or sack last season). His career high for interceptions is 3, which he did only one time in 5 years. And his averages for the other big play categories is only 1 per season. Not exactly a 'nose for the ball' guy.
That said, Burnett's tackle floor is the best of any S when healthy... emphasizing when healthy (which he has not been this season).
