Keenan Robinson - Wash ILB (1 Viewer)

Maelstrom

Been holding onto him as I have the room currently on my bench, but every week he has been listed as questionable, limited in practice, then out on gameday. Hard to find details this week as well with a MNF game.

Is he coming back? Worth holding onto for the FF playoffs? (My league is IDP-light - 4 IDP players any position, when generally means LBs are hard to find on the wire)

With only 4 IDP players regardless of position there is no need to hold onto Robinson. There are plenty of other guys you could use on matchups at DB or DL that will do just as well. He is safe to drop if you need the spot.

So Robinson is signing with the NY Giants.

Does he slot straight in as starting MLB?  Does he have to beat out Unga for that role?  What are Giants' homers hearing on this one?

I'm not a Giants' homer, but from what I've read from some of the beat writers the Giants see him as a valuable reserve LB. If he turns into a starter, they'll be pleasantly surprised. But, they aren't banking on it.

NJ Advance Media's Jordan Raanan reports newly-signed LB Keenan Robinson is expected to start at middle linebacker for the Giants.
The Giants did a great job adding talent along the defensive line, but their linebacking and safety corps remain a work in progress. Robinson started 21 games for the Redskins over the last two seasons, but he was completely ineffective last year before being demoted to a reserve role. The new defensive line should help hide some deficiencies, but the Giants have to add more talent at linebacker before Week 1.
