  1. I think as long as he can suit up and play this week in week 3 he gets the most touches in week 1 and say what you want but Cleveland is a very good running team. They want Duke to be the guy to lead an inept offense. Duke could be a surprise guy to grab and be rewarded with a top 20 rb at the end of the season.
  2. If Foster has such elite talent, why did he go undrafted coming out of college? I think once given a shot his skillset fit perfectly with Kubiak's running scheme. I think Anderson's do also.
  3. The rumor around here the last 4-5 years is that Kroenke is pulling a "Major League" and trying to lose on purpose. This actually makes the most sense out of all of their moves. Kroenke is going to have a tough time getting the NFL to side with him over the Chargers and Raiders in Carson. 2 > 1 They've side with Kroenke on everything else, not sure why they would stop now. Pretty sure Kroenke leaves no matter what. How odd would it be if Kroenke uses the Raiders' win in court against the NFL to move his team to LA and leave the Raiders SOL? Nah, the NFL WANTS Kroenke in L.A. It won't come to that. I also hear talk of the Raiders coming to St. Louis. I don't want that either for a lot of reasons. The Raiders to STL have been gaining a little more steam. I don't see it. I don't see STL going anywhere. At the need of the day, the city is going to do what is needed to keep them here. And for the above commentor who said they thought Kroenke bought the Rams to move them and you think the same way that you did of the Bid Red.....STL had a chance 5 years ago to start the new building and they insulted a smart business man by offering 250 million for a 750 million stadium and offered him no profits off parking. I am a die hard Rams fan but I am not going to throw all the blame at Kroenke. It takes 2 to tango and the politicians had more than 1 chance to eliminate this day from ever getting here. Still, end of the day, I think they stay #ihopeiamright #wishfulthinking #ihopeiamnotjustafan
  4. I would think 2 series is the MAX you will see him in there. They will have 5 active rbs dressed tonight. I would think 1 or 2 series from him and Reddick and the other 3 guys are playing for 1 or 2 spots on the roster.
  5. What mocks are you using? Fantasy Football calculator, he goes in the 5th of 12 team PPR drafts. The other mocks like Yahoo he goes later. Fantasy Pros which I believe averages all the major sites together has him in the late 7th for standard. That's going to go up at least two rounds after a few preseason games. Could you give me some insight on why you feel so confident he is going to look so good in preseason? I like him as well and have him on a few of my teams and like his upside but you are speaking so confidently about how you feel about him I just want to know what you know or why you feel this why?
  6. The Citizens of St. Louis are still paying for the TWA Dome (now the Ed Jones Dome) that they voted to pay for about 20 years ago. The judge ruled that the tax can be extended without a vote. It's not a new tax. Just a tax that was about to expire that is being extended for this stadium. Still seems like dirty pool, but that's the reasoning... I believe I heard the new stadium was going to be heavily funded by a tax on rental cars at the airport? Hotel and rental car tax. It's mostly tourisms taxes. Won't effect the people of STL one bit. It's not a new tax either. They are re-financing the bonds. It's going to actually be a net gain for revenue's for STL according to the financial experts. It's a huge win for the city of STL. The unions are also heavily involved in the building of it. They are pushing hard for it too. Seems everybody is on board Except Kroenke He might not have a choice

  8. I have some bad news for youOh, right! He's the reason for the suspension, right? And he probably got the same... Scotty.....Blount is in NE now I know that. And he only has a 1 game suspension. So when LeVeon Bell is out for 3 games, I can start TD machine, Blount. So you think a guy who is missing 1 game is a good fill in for a guy who is missing 3 games???? I would think a good fill in for a guy who is missing 3 games would be a guy playing in 3 games. Just my 2 cents

  10. Austin Seferian-Jenkins - TE - BuccaneersPewter Reporter says TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins was "virtually uncoverable" during offseason OTAs and minicamps. Seferian-Jenkins' rookie year was stunted by a college foot injury, and subsequent issues with his conditioning, back and ankle. Now the 6'5/262 mountain of a man is fully healthy and is playing in a Dirk Koetter scheme that has previously squeezed a career year out of Marcedes Lewis and heavily utilized Tony Gonzalez. ASJ also gets a quarterback upgrade in the form of Jameis Winston, who targeted TE Nick O'Leary a nation-high 73 times at Florida State last year. Mount Seferian has a reasonable amount of sleeper appeal as a flier available in the 11th- to 14th-round range.
  11. If the longest you can hold any player is three years and assuming you can not extend those contracts (which seems to be the case based on what you say about WRs) than taking CJ Anderson over Gurley isn't as bad a move as it would be in a real dynasty league. If Gurley sits out to start the regular season than you'd be basically wasting one year of his contract. In this league his long term value is muted by the fact that you won't be carrying him for the majority of his career, thus a one year impact of Anderson playing with Manning just may be more valuable. Also as Black Jacks stated, the three year contract devalues WR too, so this is the odd situation where CJ may be more valuable than both Cooper and Gurley. If you could guarantee me 3 years like FWP with my #1 dynasty pick I would take it Rb's shelf life isn't great. Give me 3 years of 1600 yards and 8 tds on average and I will sign up. I know you could get better and I know Gurley could do that and better for longer but I will take the immediate results and hope for longevity.
  12. You're nuts. It's Gurley or Cooper at 1.1. Even with CJ there. not even a tough call Not to turn this into a CJ vs Gurley or Melvin conversation but why? Injury concerns offensive talent concern Offensive coordinator concerns CJ is young and I have seen him. Why have so much faith in 2 rookies who we haven't seen and 1 who is coming off a major injury You have 3 options here.1. Draft Gurley 2. Draft Cooper 3. Trade the pick. Gurley is currently ranked as the 19 overall player in dynasty. Cooper is 23. Anderson..... Not even in the top 50 (57). There are plenty of good reasons for this but there is no need to get into them. If you like Anderson that much. Trade the pick or draft Gurely/Cooper and trade them. Drafting Anderson is the equivalent of throwing money into a fire. It shouldn't even be considered. Sorry, but this harsh reality needs to be said. Agree. Even if you're right and Anderson ISAll that and a bag of chips, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least trade into the position of getting him and leveraging the value. Until the next guy that's also right takes CJ at 3. Now you're at 6 with your "leveraged value" and drafting a guy you don't like. All you gotta be is right. It is about getting it right. If that means you get it right because some else made your preconceived mistake before you get the chance too. That's works as well.I cant really pick Gurley and hold him for a Kings ransom. The guy behind me owns the 2 and 3 pick. He has made it very known he will pick which 2 I don't pick out of Anderson, Gurley or Gordan. I just don't agree on Gurley over Anderson as I believe Anderson will give a top 10 rb performance the next 3 years. After that, its anyways best guess. Yeldon estimated to go 4th (I think Cooper should) AA, Cooper and Joseph Randle are probably going 5-7. I have the 7. Would love to have Anderson and Randle with the 1 and 7, I think both will be top 15 this year Are points skewed towards RBs in this league? 6 of the first 7 picks will be RBs? How is CJ Anderson a free agent, do you close waivers super early in this league? We stop fa pick ups at week 12 but its also a salary cap league. Almost all the owners were out of cash by the time week 12 came along. We don't do ppr and rookie wrs aren't as valuable due to the max of signing them is a 3 year contract and their development taking a little longer than rbs.

  15. So torn.......... I am a STL fan and have the #1 pick in our dynasty rookie and fa draft. I want Gurley bad but CJ Anderson was a fa at the end of our waiver wire process last year and I feel I have to go him. Gurley's injury history scares me but he is dynamite and I cant wait to cheer him on every Sunday!
