  1. I would not trade him for both here is the big thing. I look at guys who cal lead you to championships with those special seasons. michael Thomas is that. I don’t think Sutton, JuJu or Metcalf can ever come close to that. that is Zek Elliott to Miles Sanders. Same thing you are getting age and good players but really don’t think any of them can be Super special top 5 type seasons.
  2. A little late here. #1. I thought everyone did a great job of drafting. It seems very thin this year at the end. Even PK is scary and no wonder lots went with 1. QB Goff(6), Big Ben(7). Very happy with this duo as long as staying healthy. Both more pass first teams with good weapons. I had a few QBs I liked so waiting was fine. RB. Gurley(3), Montgomery(5), Peterson(14), Bernard(16), evans(18). This is a rag tag unit. Gurley in 3rd if healthy can be fine. Montgomery is okay as #2. My backup is hope and pray. Hope Bernard and Evans get done catches and ADP gets some TDs and score once in a while. If I go out early this is the reason WR. Evans(2), SAmuel(4), Watkins(8), Jefferson(9), Perriman(12). Not enough here because of my RB debacle. Maybe should have just gone 1 PK or D. Like this group. Wish I had gone RB in 9th like Brieda or Scott and taken Reynolds in 14th instead. Evans preselect was interesting. The next 4 picks where my next preselects in order. I was happy with any. Love Deebo. 6 WR taken ahead, who I rank behind Deebo. Watkins another I will end up with a lot. Good best ball guy. Jefferson, I took a little early. But think was away that day and did few rounds. Perriman, I also like in best ball. But risky. Is he end of last year or everything before that. Think end and opportunity and light bulb came on. TE. Kelce(1), Rudolph(10). I usually don’t go TE in first but switched it up. Thought the 2 PPR would see him go early and RB would drop. Would have changed everything. As is. This duo is strength of team and the cost efficiency was good D. SF, Indy. This looks like awesome duo and would not surprise me to lead league in D points. PK. Crosby has starting job on good O team. Carlson should hold on but not as sure. Blankenship in 18th was other consideration but more 60-40 chance. Lots of jobs are scary right now and really see why many only went 1. 18 really cuts things fine and with no flex of any type hurts. my RB crew and only 5 WR means this team probably not fav to bring it home.
  3. 14 team league after draft. Super Flex, TE premium PPR, IDP team A gives Michael Pittman Brandon Aiyuk. 2021 2nd(2.1 or 2.2) Team B gives JK Dobbins, 2021 1st(could be anywhere between 4 to 12).
  4. Does not ,after as this report is based on age and Thomas was at Ohio St for 4 years. He had a red shirt year and thus was older coming out ala the Seniors. So it does matter and skews these numbers. also not sure why Golloday is not considered having a #1 season who played till his senior year. Now only played 2. He was #11 in my league last year. I understand the junior to senior because you get graded early, you come out chasing the cash. Why the numbers had more way more seniors drafted in round 4 or later. So top talent comes out early. But if you put Golloday and Thomas into equation, #1 WR goes up to 22% just like that. Plus what is your risk this year. The top 4 are all juniors. If Mims and the boys go late 1st, 2nd over Higgins etc, I think draft capital is still more Important. Because in top 10 is 7 Jr and 3 Sr. 2 failures for jr and 1 for Sr, than the numbers will continue to favour Juniors. Make it 4 misses to 2. The amount has bearing here because we all know, not many talented WRs stay for all 4 years. Most might not even spend 3 years in college if they where not forced. I am okay with the risk factor on the 3 seniors compared to the 3 juniors after the big 4 and draft capital and landing spot will be more important than age.
  5. And here is why sometimes the before draft can be better. AJ Brown last year perfect example. Highly rated before draft. Goes to Tennessee and drops. Someone gets steal on talent over situation. My league does lots of early mocks and was top 5. Dropped to round 2. same can be applied to committee. One of the big RBs goes to Titans with Henry there. Do you really think they will stay RBBC for years or do they apprentice for a year. But tier 2 RB goes to KC at 63 or 96 and shoots up boards ala Darrell Henderson last year. I think situation can play too big a role post draft. I rather draft after draft but just for knowing draft capital. I find as guy that usually picks late, that I am after talent over immediate need and thus end up with steals. I was in league for years where we drafted before. I thought it helped the guppies more. They really get caught up in situation over talent post draft. Of course you have your Hakeem Butler types who get tons of love predraft hype and fall but they go early anyways.
  6. I will go the opposite. How many spots that Taylor, Swift, Dobbins or Edwards-Helaire can go that have more value than Jacobs with PPR ability and fighting Jalen Richards miami. 1st round. Nope. Pick 38. Less KC. 1st round. Probably but Damien there. 2nd round. No way baltimore. 1st round. No thanks Indy. Pick 34. No. RBBC Detroit pick 35. No. Talented back still there Chargers pick 37. No. Ekeler there Houston. Pick 40. Maybe but I don’t like Tampa Pick 45. Maybe and I like but not Jacobs like with Jones there and pass first. But 2nd best spot to KC 1st Atlanta Pick 47. Maybe but got to wait a year. Pass for me Jets Pick 48. Like Atlanta but worse pitt Pick 49. Abou same as last 2. Big Ben than gone. Pass Rams. Pick 52. Team in decline. Like them for passing but pass Buffalo. Pick 54. Hard RBBC. No thanks sorry. I am picking Jacobs. Draft fever. There is no Barkley in this group of backs.
  7. I take the Hockenson side easily. I value TJ over Singleterry who I see more of a good RB in RBBC over Bell cow. TJ can be top 10 TE and the bonus is huge. I do not find this as deep of a draft as last year. So the 2.1 could be huge especially with Young and the 3 big name LB of Simmons, Queen and Murray. Add in the 3-5 RB, 4-7 WR. 1 TE, 1 QB and 4 IDP. After this another group of 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 TE, 2 QB, 2 DE, 3 LB.
  8. QB Aaron Rodgers 8.8. After WSL debacle at QB was getting anchor this time. He was the guy. Brees, Allen, Ryan were next in preselect Daniel Jones 11.5. I like him but he was behind Goff and Brady in preselect. I could have gone one of them in 10th over Cooks. Not a deal breaker though Joe Burrow. 12.8. Again, I like Burrow but maybe QB in 10th and WR here works better. With scouting as is was always going 3. Might still take 4th. Want to score well here and while extra position wasted over OM with 2 early, rather do this with 25 man rosters Mitch Trubisky 25.5. A 4th QB not needed but screamed value. I think he can produce and Foles will help. At the worst he gives me option till Burrow gets up to speed. I had Kmet, Njoku and PK in preselect. I did not see any RBs that will produce more and WR getting low. I rather Mitch over last 3 taken and eight is enough RB Nick Chubb 2.8. My only non pre select. Pretty easy pick for me. Even if had gone RB at 5. DeAndre Swift 4.8. After Taylor went, he was my top preselect. Wanted one of the rookies. Kerryon was the other thought as love but he is risky with injury. If you knew you got backup. So Swift is it. Even Gurley and Gordon behind in preselect and I like both more than others taken in 3rd David Montgomery 7.5. I like as my 3rd guy. He should count a few weeks. My flex is not going to be RB and drafted accordingly. While my RB crew is not bad, it is certainly my weakest position. Boston Scott 18.8. As you can see punted. I like what I say from him. Will catch some passes and got TD chances also. Think he is sneaky guy to own. Hines was my other thought AJ Dillon. 21.5. I forgot about him and was not even in preselect till hour before my pick happened. He has the body type and skills to make instant impact. Let’s hope he gives me a few weeks on the season. Again. Not strong but for amount invested, I am satisfied. WR Michael Thomas 1.5. My pre was CMC, Bark, Zek, Alvin, Thomas. I got Mike. Why no Cook. He just scares me. Hard pass. Get the easy #1 WR who I think benefits more from Sanders being on team than Sanders benefits fantasy wise. Can’t lose with him. Consistent scores week to week. Keenan Allen 3.5. I was going WR all the way. Wanted 2 studs to anchor. Godwin, Beckham in pre. Would have been happy with Golloday or Moore who were next. Allen will get his targets no matter who the QB. Guy is a technician and just needs accurate. Might benefit as Rivers was awful last year Brandin Cooks 10.8. With 2 studs could wait to grab a bunch of guys. Hoping the talent finally rises even if traded. Looking back and other than QB upgrade, he was guy I liked best with best ball. Hope to get big weeks. Had all kind of positions in pre. Sterling Shepherd. 13.5. #1 WR on team. Won’t put up huge numbers but will give me consistency. Jones, Washington, Williams, Watkins next guys. Did not miss out on anyone as Sterling was behind Cooks for WR at 10. Just other positions beween. Sammy Watkins 15.5. One of my real happy picks. Get 2 rounds later when would have been happy with 13th. WR looking like my flex. Not cut ny KC is good sign. Think he still restructures when needed but I think still being on roster now is good sign. Justin Jefferson 17.5. Another happy pick. He is going round 1 and I think has nice impact. like to have him in my dynasty draft also. But don’t pick till 13th in SF, TE premium but holding out hope. He is my WR3 in draft. Corey Davis 20.5. How the mighty have fallen. Still some talent and hope he gives me a few nice weeks for flex. Was hoping for Fitz and maybe should have grabbed. Cobb, Harry also in pre Brandon Aiyuck 23.5. Looking back, would rather have Shenault in 22nd and PK like Rosas here. But not terrible rookie to take flyer on. Campbell, Reynolds, Sanu also in preselect. TE Evan Engram 5.5. He has some risk but still very nice when playing. Might have gone TE in 3rd if this was as heavy handed as WSL. But waited and worked. Henry, Waller considered. So was Dobbins but had 2 RB Noah Fant 9.5. Waned to get 2 nice TE and big fan of Noah. I had all kinds of positions in preselect. Usually made changes as was always waiting on Ref or Bass Usually got the guy wanted with 2 picks to go. Don’t think really sniped bad at all when I was hoping for a certain guy. Irv Smith 21.5. Talented guy who I thinks gets more involved. Was looking hard at TE3 but kept putting off. Giescki, Hurst, Thomas all guys that was in preselect but never got to me. Like them all also but Irv better value when looking. Maybe should have got one for flex. But Fant and 1 of plenty WR is flex hope Def. SF. Lol. I did not even look at scoring thinking like WSL till brought up in discussion. Than I checked out and knew was going 3. Old Milwaukee talked about taking 2 on the corner and I thought. Let’s start a run. Did not quite work as nothing between picks but did not effect picks anyways. Henry is only guy I might have taken. Run did happen between 7th and 8th pick though. Feel this gives me advantage over RB being just okay to make up some difference Clev. 14.8. The DL is real good. Hoping for improvement. TB was top Pre followed by GB. still okay with these ones miami 16.8. D was getting low. Raiders was first choice. Dolphins spent lots on D and East looking more wide open and draft resources still to spend. Should be greatly improved. PK Daniel Carlson. I looked at scoring and did not see many teams taking 3. I could have punted till 24 and 25 and still be happy. Quite a few guys I like are available and one in preselect but won’t get to him. I think Raiders will be improved. Won’t name drop. Glad to be last one to take PK. And by quite a few rounds. This strategy worked Rodrigo Blankenship. So after he was not taken in WSL, I said. Great can grab in last round but changed thought and said really want and good chance my selection here will drop. So changed and took the rookie round early. He will be drafted and NE and Tenn look good to go. overall. Like it just as much as any team I read here. Most wont like because RB but to me, the only position more important than was PK. If we only started 1, I would punt more. Hope my D move is the winning move as think huge difference maker. damn. Was hoping 25th would have come up. One edit to come. Shocker coming.
  9. My pre select screwed up. And I know why and missed the error can I change Claypool to Brandon Aiyuck
  10. Which should really benefit Ian Thomas in this O. A talented young guy also. So while it helps the rest, it really hurts Anderson fantasy and crushes Samuel. I think Bridgewater signing also not good. Thomas to me is the big winner with Panther moves
  11. Would work great. I look forward to it 1. less Roger is perfect 2. be more time on evaluations. Love talking to draft room 3. most have seen tape, senior bowl combine. Can still hold private workouts by video also. Talking with players easy also with today’s technology. Might be behind a bit but all teams in same vote love it and can’t wait. Fantasy football is my sports right now.
  12. This draft is unique because of the lack of top end D talent but the depth of O. Last year in my home league that gives DL .5 extra per tackle, White went 8, Bosa went 9 and Bush went 18. Allen was next at 30. But that allowed a few O players to drop and we start 11 of each. Allowed AJ Brown and Deebo Samuel to be 2nd round steals this year is Simmons but Patrick Queen and Kenneth Murray. The next level of Zach Baun, Jordyn Brooks, Malik Harrison, Akeem Gaither Davis, William Gay are a step or 2 down. for DL it is Chase Young and than hoping one or more of Chiasson, Gross-Matos, and Espenesa go to 4-3 spots over 3-4 which I agree with most that kills value in most leagues. Remember that Simmons could also go to S and kill value as S deep this year. we have had one guy come out and say he is taking Young at 10. He also has hinted at Simmons at 11. He picks again at 25 and 28. I think early as O rules league at 57-43 of scoring. The top 4 teams for O last year dominated the league but he might get a Zach Moss or Michael Pittman in the 2nd. Or he could have JK Dobbins(SF league), Tee Higgins, Brooks and #3 DL instead. Because the big 4 will be gone by pick 20. The team picking 16 and 20 has a dismal D and above average O. One team has picks 5-7-8-23. He needs all and where I see Simmons maybe going 8 if he wants a top 3 Lb. He gets one of Ruggs and Harrison or Simmons and Akers/Hopkens. Why I love doing early mocks to see value of picks. I know mocks are useless for ones by Walter and such but they show you lots of stuff about what happens if Player A goes to Team B or C. Maybe too much time on hands. So do a mock. Look at previous league outcomes. If D goes early last year which was top heavy LB again, than figure same this year. I know a league a friend plays in where LB has been the 1st pick overall and the top 3 LB always gone by mid first. You know going to happen again this. And not sure why other than 1-3-1 with Flex RB or TE so only start 8 O starters compared to SF and 11 O starters with 11 D for both and 4 LB. second one is TE premium also. League past will show tons of tendencies.
