  1. He's been set up as a pretty powerful character and he also has the Dragon Horn. Which at least seems to be a real thing. ETA: actually Victareon's got the horn I guess. As long as they cast the Dusky Woman I'm happy.
  2. Finally got smithing up to 100. Now I need to figure out something fun to do with the hundreds of iron daggers I have sitting around. My first thought was to see if I could reverse pickpocket and hand them to every child in skyrim. Arming the kids seems like something that would make my character smile.
  3. IIRC, they are all the lamb people except for a few of her personal bodyguard from Drogo's crew.So who was the last scout that Dany stopped, and called 'blood of my blood', or something like that? Seemed like he was Drogo's brother. One of her blood riders. I think they were the about the only warriors who stayed with her after the rest of the Khallasar left. She refers to all three of them that way throughout the books.
  4. Here's a pretty long entry on it Skyrim Wikigood lord...I started the bugged Vilkas quest it didn't work so I went back about my business and ignored it for a bit. Completed some thieves guild stuff and a one off quest up in Solitude. Looks like my best bet is to simply reload from prior to starting the quest with Vilkas and go with the recommended ways to avoid getting stuck with the bugs. Seems like that's got to be one of the more major quest line bugs they have out there... Hopefully they fix it. Managed to get around it. I basically just ran a bunch of radiant quests for the three who offered them until Farkas would offer me the Purity quest. Then it worked correctly, and I was able to cure myself too (I thought the wiki said that you'd have to complete purity for both him and Vilkas before curing yourself, but that wasn't the case).
  5. I've been seeking out all the different volumes of the Lusty Aragonian Maid. i'm still missing a few though.
  6. He said the Libertarian party is hoping to pull 15% of the popular vote in November, which seems to be wildly optimistic.

  8. Ugh... Has anyone found a workaround for the "Purity" quest bug on XBOX? Picked up Vilkas as a follower and started the quest, but immediately he stopped following me and the quest marker disappeared. Now the quest is in my completed quests list even though I've done nothing for it and there's no check next to the one entry in the quest log, and I can't pick up any other followers because it still thinks Vilkas is following me...
  9. That's basically my combat style too. Unless I get mobbed by 2-3 at a time its easier for me to just get off the last shot or two in melee range with a baddie. If I get mobbed I blast an Ice Form shout and run off to a safe distance before picking them off again, though being Stealthy normally means I don't ever get into those situations.
  10. Yes, I've become obsessed with increasing my armor/weapons as high as I possibly can, so I've started my quest to powerlevel smithing/enchanting to 100 and fully improve/enchant all my weapons/armor. I even got married for the additional bonus your wife gives you (who'd have guessed being married would make a job less tedious). I've got my banish enchantment ready to go, and a smattering of fences across Skyrim. Next up, hitting up every Dwemer ruin I can find to get the massive number of soul gems I'm going to need to pull this off. I'm hoping I can get enough of a soul gem base built up that I can just craft a bunch, enchant them, then make the circle of skyrim to sell them and pick up new components on the way, before getting back to whiterun for a nap with Aela and another batch of smithing/enchanting. I haven't even decided which two enchantments I'm going to use on my stuff yet... is there a limit to how high I can increase a skill with equipment bonuses? I have a ring and necklace with +35% archery already. Is there a benefit to go over +100% total for a skill? I'll readily admit that I'm sick.
  11. We need to cut the deficit. Obama has shown no sign that he realizes this. Neither has the House Republicans. I think Romney if elected will be able to use the Republican majority to actually engage in significant spending cuts for the first time in our history. I am not at all sure of this, but that is my hope. Second, I believe Romney as president will move us closer to real alternatives to oil, such as nuclear and natural gas. Obama has had the chance to do this and failed. Romney may succeed. Again, not sure of this, but that is my hope. Those are my main two reasons for supporting Mitt Romney for president. There is a lot I don't like about him. He seems sleazy to me. His rhetoric against China, and now against Russia, troubles me greatly. His conversion to social conservatism in order to win the election is bothersome (though I doubt it's genuine.) I don't like him in general. I like Obama. Obama seems like a really nice, really smart guy, and He's been an OK president. I would much rather know Barack Obama than Mitt Romney. But the two issues I listed are decisive for me and overwhelm everything else- IF Romney can really carry through on them.He can't carry through on anything by himself. Why do people continue to fall for this tactic? It comes down to you liking his promises over someone else's. I still don't get it.Romney will have a supportive congress. Obama won't.yes, his congress will support cutting taxes and increasing military spending, sending two of the three big ticket items needed to fix the budget in the wrong direction. Sure, they might manage to accomplish what they're looking to do, but will it help the situation?
  12. Don't be wuss and hit it.This.Hit it bareback and then afterwards tell her about plowing that hoor yesterday.or at least ask her for a ride to another hoor

But the two issues I listed are decisive for me and overwhelm everything else- IF Romney can really carry through on them.Hmm. Politically, I think I'm relatively close to you. I tend to be fiscally conservative, but socially liberal and I'm starting to think that Romney would do worse for fiscal responsibility than Obama would. Primarily because there's no republican right now that will even consider raising taxes. At all. Looking at tax revenues/GDP its pretty easy to see that we're well below historical norm levels, due in part to the Bush tax cuts and in part to the recession. However, anyone with an R after their name seems to be preaching that we need to bring in even less in tax revenues (ignoring the trickle down stuff that likely has some effect at some level of tax rates, but that seems to be at much higher rates than we have now). I firmly believe that in order to get fiscal issues on the right track we need to cut military spending (and this idea will need to come from a republican), cut social spending (needs to be proposed by a democrat) and increase taxes (another republican proposal). I don't see a President Romney even considering either of the issues that will have to be proposed by a Republican. I don't see any of the republican candidates willing to go to those lengths, and in fact, I think any of the republican candidates will propose/encourage less taxes (which they already have done) and more military spending (based on their desire to attack Iran this seems pretty likely too). If that's the case, how are we going to get to the compromise needed to fix things? Obama has seemed at least willing to discuss cutting social programs, though not as much as I'd like to see.I have no idea where I'm going to vote in November, but Romney has a lot of convincing to do to get this Republican to cast his vote that way.
