  1. Anybody watching the game -- is Tate back on the field or still in the locker room?
  2. If I were able to watch the game, I wouldn't be asking the question.
  3. Have they said anything about Cobb that might indicate if he's going to play at all or not?
  4. It's still early obviously, but I haven't noticed Cobb on the field for GB on their first drive.
  5. I'm in a similar situation. My alternatives are bad enough that I'd take a chance on Cobb even if he's not 100%, but obviously not if I think he's just going to be riding the bench or maybe coming in as a decoy for a play or two.
  6. Just curious -- For those watching the game, has Dez just not been targeted at all, or is he hurt, or what? TIA
  7. If you set TE Starters and Roster spots = 0 they will be grouped as WR+TE. You can then set flex to 1 RB/WR/TE and your done. Thanks a lot!!
  8. Bruce, In one of my leagues, WR and TE are lumped together as one position ("WR/TE"), and we start 1 RB, 3 WR/TE, and 1 flex which can be either a RB or a WR/TE. Can you help me on VBD and DD as to how to set up the flex positions? Thanks in advance!
  9. Jeff, I'm looking at another guy's roster, and it seems like there's potential for a trade there, but I'm having trouble figuring out what kind of offer to make. The other guy is very weak at RB, and I've got extra RB talent. I'd like to get some extra help at WR, especially with Dwayne Bowe on my roster now suspended for 4 games. I'd love to get DeSean Jackson from him, but I don't know that Derrick Mason along with either a Snelling or Choice or Lynch or Forsett is necessarily enough to offer. Any advice you could give on what offers that would be good for me to make would be greatly appreciated. This is a 12 team, total points league (no playoffs). Scoring is primarily TDs (with bonuses for longer TDs). RBs & WRs get a 4 pt bonus at 100 total yards and a 4 pt bonus at 6 catches for RBs and 8 catches for WRs. I've posted both of our rosters below, along with the total fantasy points each player has scored in our scoring system so far this season. We start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF. (Lastly, just a side note, but when you look at my roster, you'll wonder why I haven't cut Brandon Tate -- the reason is that under our league rules you can't cut players you pick up during the regular season unless you've started them at least one week already.) 10. Jeff, If you have a chance, I'd be grateful for any thoughts you might have on this trade offer I just received. I had emailed the guy 3 or 4 days ago to ask him if he might be interested in a trade for a WR, and this was his response. I would get Derrick Mason in exchange for Kellen Winslow. He also has Hines Ward who I think is more valuable than Mason, but I'm not sure about trying to get him or not. I'm currently in 2nd place in a total points, no-playoff, no championship game league, with scoring primarily for TDs (we get points for yardage only if the RB/WR gets 100+ total yards, and points for catches only if the TE/WR gets 6+ receptions). I have no real WR depth after my starting 3 guys, and 2 of them will be on bye in Week 10. We start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF. My roster is as follows: QB: Brady, Garrard RB: DeAngelo, Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, Marshawn Lynch, Tashard Choice, Justin Forsett WR: Andre Johnson, Steve Smith (NYG), Dwayne Bowe, Muhsin Muhammad, Isaac Bruce, Brandon Tate TE: Vernon Davis, Winslow K: Gould DEF: Minnesota, Seattle Davis is my starting TE, and he's past his bye already, so I probably wouldn't be playing Winslow absent a Davis injury or a really strong matchup situation. If I accepted the trade, I'd be starting Mason definitely in Week 10 (with AJ & SSmith both on bye) and I'd have a little more depth if any of my starters got hurt down the road. It seems like a good trade for me, but I was hoping to get your thoughts. Also, should I try for another WR on his team instead of Mason, or would that seem too greedy? I was thinking perhaps of going for Hines Ward instead. If you think I should try for Ward, but I am not offering enough, should I offer Winslow and Tashard Choice for Ward? Also, his roster is as follows (He's in 11th place out of 12 teams, so I don't have the problem of potentially helping someone who is likely to pass me in the standings): QB: Cassel, Palmer, Alex Smith RB: Westbrook, McGahee, Fred Jackson, Maurice Morris, Jamal Lewis WR: Calvin Johnson, Hines Ward, Derrick Mason, Crayton, Terrell Owens, Malcom Floyd TE: Scheffler K: Prater, Rackers DEF: Colts, Steelers Thanks again for any thoughts you might have!
  11. Bruce, Is there any schedule posted for planned VBD updates? I'd like to be able to tweak the latest version available before each of my drafts, but I don't know when the new versions are expected to be released. If there isn't any hard schedule, is there any approximate idea (i.e. next version on Thursday or Friday, the following version on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. etc.)? Thanks in advance!
