  1. Wow, he was literally just picked up.
  2. Robby Anderson, Taylor Gabriel, Trequan Smith are tops available on Waivers. I think I'll punt and yank him from my lineup.
  3. Lots of guys on byes. Amendola was top of the waiver wire and I feel like he's good for 8 catches tonight. But like 8 for 70 yards and no scores. That's 11 pts and for a bye week fill in I'm okay with that.
  4. Now that Parker is cleared to play tonight, is he a better choice in a Half-PPR over Amendola. Alternatively, should I punt on both of them given the new wrinkle. I don't know how to factor in the possibility that Miami might try to feature him to help his trade value.
  5. Yeah, it's swill, but this was one of the all-time greats of advertising campaigns. Glad they paid respect and gave it a good sendoff.
  6. Excited, going tomorrow to http://www.persimmonhollowbrewing.com/
  7. I had Cloudberry Farmhouse Ale from Hourglass Brewery. just released last week. http://i.imgur.com/twHLlV0.jpg
  8. Yeah just bought 160 worth of Almanac Farm to Barrel Although unintended, thank you gent's for making me feel better about my beer budget...he says cracking a booneshine long winter Imperial Stout... I like to always comment how expensive of a hobby golf is. Then when my wife thinks anything I do as a hobby is too expensive, I can say at least I don't play golf. Hell, You can spend $176 on carts, green fees, balls and tips in a single outing.
  9. Just poured a new beer for me. Baltic Porter by The Duck-Rabbit from North Carolina. When it's done, I'm going to have a Cigar City Florida Cracker with Dinner.
  10. That graphic leaves out a substantial portion of the big picture. Right, like the fact that neither you nor your employer would be paying healthcare premiums. That's a HUGE deal that has to be considered. My premium is $500/month for PPO with HSA. My employer probably pays close to that much on my behalf. Competitive forces should force employers to kick some of that savings, however small a portion, back to the employee. By itself that almost negates the tax increase. Add in college tuition for my soon-to-be college age boys and I come out ahead in my bracket. Mu guess is that your employer pays 2-3x than your share. I think they may have at one time. I am not sure, but that only amplifies the point.

  12. Last night I ordered a Stanley Growler off Amazon (which now that I type this sounds like a euphemism) at 11:54 PM. They had "Free Next Day Shipping" available which it did state would be Sunday, January 17th. I said, free, sure, I'll do that. Usually the Next-Day is a small upcharge from the Free Prime shipping. So I ordered it and figured it would arrive sometime today. 7:30AM, dude calls to wake me up asking for gate code to make an Amazon Delivery. That #### got here in less than 8 hours at a lower price than I would have paid anywhere. Damn.
  13. Just finished Season 2. That's the best show on this year that no one talked about. I hadn't heard of it until I stumbled into this thread.
  14. Binge watched this over the last week. I need more scenes with Nora Durst and Jill braless in tank tops and shorts.
  15. I wasn't sure about Steven, but I was certain they wouldn't convict Brendan. Absolutely shocked. Even if exactly what they said happened, happened, I still can't see Brendan as a first degree murderer.
