  5. Made the call, I forgot the name of person I talked to. Ended up with.. Sunday Ticket Max, NBA League Pass, Directv Sports Package for 6 months, HBO for 6 months, Showtime for 4 months, $60 off for 12 months. She also stated there were (2) $10 discounts I was eligible for that were applied. I already have a $30 discount for 10 months remaining.
  6. Did you go to retention or threaten to cancel?I said "Cancel" when prompted by automated service. Went right to retention, stated they're giving ST to new customers and I want it too. I also didn't have to extend my contract.
  7. Just called and said I'm a loyal 15 year customer I see you're offering ST to new customers in promotion, I want ST Max for free. The rep gave me ST Max for free.
  8. That deal would be a steal for you. Instant reject if you offered me this. I don't see why he agonized at all.I value Wilson over Rice, Floyd over Austin and the 1st over Olsen, I see u do too. Easy reject. You don't see that I do, too, because I don't. In my last ranking update, I have Rice at RB6 vs. Wilson at RB13, Floyd at WR38 vs. Austin at WR41, and Olsen at TE9. I'd view a 2015 first as a solid upgrade over Olsen (even if I have to wait two years to cash it in), I'd view Michael Floyd as a decent upgrade over Miles Austin (who happens to fit much better with my team, because I'm so stacked at WR that Austin will never see the field for me), and David Wilson as a very substantial drop from Ray Rice. Normally, I'd say the drop from Rice to Wilson is so huge that it dwarfs the upgrades from Austin to Floyd and from Olsen to a 2015 first... BUT, with the way my team is currently constructed, the trade makes a lot of sense for me. Rice is my RB3 behind Charles and Peterson. I have plenty of points in my lineup, so I value youth and upside more than reliability and production from my bench. I think this is a clear case where I'm giving up the best player in the deal, but I'm fortunate enough to be in a position where I can afford to roll the dice. The other guy agonized over it because going from Wilson, Michael Floyd, and Scott Chandler to Rice, Austin, and Greg Olsen will do pretty good things for your chances of winning in any given week or any given season. Wilson is still a big risk at this point. He could be huge, but he could also be a complete bust who never lives up to expectations. You don't get many chances to convert question marks like that into proven, reliable, still-young studs like Ray Rice. Yep, I agree with some of your assessment and understand the explanation. Still, we agree on the side of the deal we both like regardless of said explanation. I looked at the trade with total disregard for what each team had and no way I make it. You think the Wilson side is better, hence u offered for it.

  10. Buying low before a breakout is the key to dynasty fantasy football. Your post is a manual on how to suck.Buy low period sailed on Wilson mid season last year.
  11. I was lucky enough to get him in 6 of the 10 dynasty leagues I'm in and he's not on the block in any of them. I'll listen to any offer, but David Wilson is damn near untouchable.Everybody has a price Let's put it this way, it would take someone like A J Green to make me flinch. If Green will make you flinch I will assume Calvin, Julio, or Dez can get you to rethink your position too.

  14. I've tried to buy both Stewart and Mendenhall and can't get either. Offered Britt straight up for both in separate deals and I've been rejected. Looks like both are a hold.
  15. Wow, that is a high ranking for Cobb. Interesting.Check out his twitter. He was pimping him pretty hard yesterday. Said that A. Brown for Cobb would be good deal for getting Cobb.If you believe in him having elite talent, something I want to believe, but am not sure just yet, then it makes sense. He is on a team with arguably the game's best QB and in an offense that likes to throw. Driver will most likely be displaced this year and James Jones isn't too far behind. Jennings is 28, so in two or three years one can imagine that Cobb will become a starter. Again, if you think he will be elite then he is worth buying now. He could produce fantasy worth numbers from the slot if he can become the regular starter in that role.Wait, so what price are you willing to pay for a guy who you can imagine will become a starter in 2-3 years? Seems like kind of a long time to wait, no?Future 1st and it's not a long time to wait. I'm sure J Stewart has been pulling future 1s or more for a while and he hasn't "paid off" yet.
  16. Just called and negotiated ST/Max for $199. They then gave me a one time credit of $100 then gave me $10 off per month for 12 months. In the end I pay $99 next month then have $120 in credits spread over 1 year, I'll take that.
