  1. At this point it is unlikely that you are ever going to know how far things went in the stall. If you love her and feel that she still loves you and you don't want to divorce then just drop the whole thing. I doubt that either one of you would allow something like this to happen again.Stop at the florist on the way home from work, get her some flowers, and tell her that you want to move on. Tell her you won't bring it up and don't ever bring it up again. I guarantee that you and her will feel a lot better. NOT A I like your advice in some instances, but this isn't one of those moments. The problem here is that if Mrs. MITYH is not being truthful ('I don't remember', 'Let me have a few days to think about what to say about the incident after I have even more time to think about how to spin it', 'why are we still talking about me disappearing into a bathroom stall with your buddy Steve for 15 minutes', and 'I don't see the need for marital counseling'), then how can you guarantee MITYH that buying some flowers and telling his wife he'll never bring it up again is going to make him feel a lot better. It's far more likely that as time goes by, MITYH will feel unresolved, disrespected, and his distrust and pain will turn to bitterness towards his wife. There is nothing more to be gained by continually grilling his wife. MTIYH has been through this enough times to know she isn't changing her story. If he believes his wife loves him and he still loves her and he wants to stay with her then it is best to give her the benefit of the doubt that nothing serious happened and to chalk this whole up to being stupid/drunk. Once he moves on and quits dwelling on what might have happened I guarantee he is going to feel better. On the other hand if he feels his wife is a lying whore that still has the hots for Steve and will jump in the sack (or stall) with him at her next opportunity then he should be filing for divorce. Going to a counselor and/or repeatedly grilling her over and over is not the answer.

  3. What really sucks is that I am going to be gone and away from my computer until Tuesday and won't hear about the confrontation with Steve at the wedding. Please for the love of all things holy keep this thread alive and unlocked until Wednesday!!!!
  4. Not yet.I haven't read everything, but there is still a chance that nothing happened.Don't confront Steve until you have done all the fact finding you can possibly do.And then when you talk to Steve, you need to play your cards carefully. And don't do it in a parking lot at a wedding reception. If you can't talk to him before then either don't go to the wedding (my choice) or avoid Steve completely until you can talk to him alone, man-to-man. The last thing you want to do is make a scene at someone else's wedding and with your kids around.
  5. Exactly. And not even really to a huge extent. All I said was that if you tell him you don't remember, he'll tell you straight out nothing happened. I told her your approach has to be "Hey, I know things got a little out of control in the bathroom. I remember a lot of what went down, but I still have some gaps. What do you remember?" I then said if he says "nothing", hit him with the fact that you are aware you held his penis. The other piece of info to throw in is chest related. If it came to it, I told her to ask him who took them out, her or him?Up until now I thought you have been handling this in the correct way but having your wife call Steve is about the wimpiest thing you could do. I am not one of those "go beat Steve's head with a bat" guys but it is up to you to talk to Steve.Dude, I'm all over that. I tried calling several times only to find out he's out of state.I understand that. What I don't understand is why you want your wife talking to the dude that she was fooling around with/raped again.

  7. The LAST thing I would want is for her to have more contact with Steve. If I you were I would have told her that she is never ever to speak to Steve again.
  8. Do NOT leave the house -- this is very bad advice. Sleep in the guest room or on the couch (or better yet, have HER sleep in the guest room or couch) if you must but do NOT pack up and go even for a few days.
  9. My guess is that something did happen and she is trying to deflect blame on Steve if you ever find out that something did happen. If it were me I would accept the wife's story and let it go although the friendship with Steve would be over. I would call Steve and tell him to stay the hell away from your wife. It may cost you friendships with the people on the camping trip as the are all going to think you are overreacting. Tough. In this case I would rather overreact than do nothing.
  10. The problem you have is that your wife and George are both saying they don't know and I am betting Steve follow suit or say that nothing happened and at that point you are done. You can believe that nothing happened or believe they did the dirty deed but you will never really know. Without completely destroying your life about the most you can do is keep your wife away from booze and Steve. You're going to have to let it go or it will fester and ruin your marriage.
  11. Very unlikely to me the wife's boobs popped out earlier in the day and she didn't correct it and/or you didn't notice. I also doubt that they plopped out when she was hurling. You didn't say if she had another drink after she returned from the restroom -- did she? If so it is unlikely that she was throwing up in the bathroom at that time. The other thing that would really bother me is that George left the restroom knowing your wife and Steve were in the same stall. If it was a normal bathroom break they would have all come back together. Most likely George finished peeing, realized Steve and your wife were "engaged" and knew they were going to be a while, and then headed back to camp by himself. I put the odds at: 60% chance light kissing/fondling, 15% chance wife got a protein shake, 15% chance the full deal went down, 10% chance nothing happened.
  12. I can understand why some believe that the screen going black symbolizes Tony's death but if that is what Chase was after it would have been better IMO to see the dude walking OUT of the bathroom, then show Tony looking up, before the cut to black. As it was shownthe guy was just going into the bathroom when Tonly looked up and saw Meadow enter the restaurant. I don't think there was enough time for the guy to have shot Tony before the fade to black.I thought Meadow's troubles with parking was going to delay he entry into the restuarant long enough to witness her dad being shot. It would make a heck of a beginning of a movie or special though...
  13. Leotardo is still out for Soprano blood and he's going to whack someone. Most likely Christopher. Or I could see Leotaqrdo whacking someone else, maybe Paulie, and Tony thinking Christopher is behind it. Ultimately I think Christopher gets whacked, Tony's going to jail, and AJ becomes heavily involved in the business, though not boss (not until the movie). Or I could see AJ getting killed and Carm never forgiving Tony for it.
  14. Agreed. I remember him putting the screws to his neighbor with a gambling problem years ago. He sure seemed like a guy that would never become a gambling addict.
  15. Possibly. In any case it looks from the previews that Hesh Rabkin might not come through with the 200K loan to Tony.
  16. I was glad to see that Junior now has been officially wrapped up. For a brief moment on the boat I was thinking that Paulie might have drugged Tony's rigatoni...
  17. This is excellent advice but I never do this for my 40 gallon tank. I know I should but I am so busy with other junk that I never get around to doing the 25% water change. I typically add a couple gallons of fresh water every 2 or 3 weeks, whenever I see the tank starting to get low due to evaporation. I also never vacuum. I have a combination undergravel filter and Tetra Whisper Filter 60 and they seem to do a good job -- most of my fish are 5 years or older.
  18. Does anyone agree with me that "Master Tape Theater" sucks?
  19. I heard that Beetlejuice was in earlier this week and was talking about killing himself. I didn't listen to the show so what was up with Beet?
  20. Seriously, no shtick. My wife would say "Are you kidding? Is there a pill that could make you NOT get an erection for 36 hours?". if there were such a pill my wife would be planting them in my food every 36 hours.
  21. Maybe my expectations were to high but I just thought there could have been more. With what they did with Stich and Buzz where you were part of the "ride" I thought they could have more interaction with those two. In Haunted I kept waiting for the Big moment and the only thing that I found semi-cool was the ghost mirror where it looked like a ghost was in the ride with you. Same with Pirates.. I kept waiting for that one WOW moment and it just never hit us.. Like I said, expectations may have been to high for these two after Stich, Buzz and some other rides. It is the attention to detail that makes Pirates and the Haunted Mansion so great. These attractions actually get better the more you experience them.
