  1. Sure you can play used games....you just have to pay a fee to link that used game to your account. Brilliant! http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/xbox-one-play-used-games-questions-linger-213743272.html
  2. All of us understand that spontaneous miscarriages happen on a regular basis. It's sad and frequently very traumatic for the family involved, but unfortunately it's a semi-"normal" outcome of pregancy and doesn't require a criminal investigation. This is one of those instances where if you're extrapolating a particular "side's" beliefs to reach an absurd conclusion, and then saying that that absurd conclusion is really the only possible logical outcome from those starting beliefs, the most likely result is that you're screwing up your extrapolation. You know how you roll your eyes when a pro-life person says that there's really no logical way for a pro-choice person to oppose infanticide? Yeah, you're doing that. If you believe that human life begins at birth, it is not a logical extrapolation of that belief to say that you're OK with infanticide. In fact it's pretty much the opposite. You are saying that abortion is OK but once the child is born it is entitled to be treated as a human being, and therefore is entitled to the full protections of the law that any child would enjoy. Regardless of what you may think about the morality of that argument, it is a logically consistent position. Similarly, if you believe that human life begins at conception, shouldn't you also say that once the child is conceived it is entitled to be treated as a human being and therefore entitled to the full protections of the law that any child would enjoy? If not, why not? "Because they die more often" is not an answer, unless you also think we shouldn't bother with death records and investigations of cause of death for cancer patients because hey, that's a semi-normal outcome too. Either it's a human life that is entitled to be protected just as any other small child, or it isn't. Which one? Who believes human life begins at birth? Surely people without modern medical technology. Unfrozen cavemen perhaps? So you're answering my questions with another (irrelevant) question. I guess it's safe to assume that's because you don't have an answer to my questions. Anyone? Is an unborn child entitled to the same legal protections as a newborn, or no? No a fetus is not entitled to the same legal protections as a newborn. It is the law of the land.
  3. What carrier are you activating it on?sshoulda capitalized ST. It's a straight talk phone. Activated and doing well so far. Good call reception and data speeds match what I use to get on my old Verizon phone. Now I'll just have to see if I get in trouble for the data usage Im use to using.
  4. Found a ics st phone for 99 that uses verizonso I'm giving it a try Haven't activated it yet but using it like a ipod touch till tomorrow. So far so good. Galaxy century is the phones name.
  5. Obviously the difference is they don't harm other people. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-22243676 you know something is wrong with you when Buddhists are trying to kill you.
  6. indeed and the other christian terrorist Rudolph opined "Many good people continue to send me money and books. Most of them have, of course, an agenda; mostly born-again Christians looking to save my soul. I suppose the assumption is made that because I'm in here I must be a 'sinner' in need of salvation, and they would be glad to sell me a ticket to heaven, hawking this salvation like peanuts at a ballgame. I do appreciate their charity, but I could really do without the condescension. They have been so nice I would hate to break it to them that I really prefer Nietzsche to the Bible."Those two really proclaimed the cross of Christ.
  7. Anyone? It sure seems like they were.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2312470/Tamerlan-Tsarnaev-Boston-bomber-thrown-mosque-raged-filled-rant-Martin-Luther-King.html Sounds like an angry kid who got rejected by the mainstream muslim community. Is this it? Cliff, I see where you're going with this. So I have to ask: do you believe that the :"mainstream Muslim community" (of the world) approves of terrorism against the United States and Israel, or disapproves? http://i.imgur.com/ITShEfO.jpg I know you love your broad brush. Just what % of muslim's do you believe support these type of actions? Personally, I think it is quite low but the few who do support it get the headlines. Now please don't get me wrong, I think all religion is equally horrible. You know, kind of like how all sins are equal. You're a prime example of what I was talking about earlier. You're eager to point out that Adam Lanza and Jared Loughner are "Christians", despite the fact that their crimes had nothing to do with Christianity. But when we have an example of someone who acted as a result of Islam, you argue that it was extremism and doesn't represent the "mainstream". Your double standard is amazing. You claim that you believe that all religion is equally horrible, but I can only conclude that you despise Christianity just a little bit more than the others. Of course I point out they're christian. Just like I'll point out christian leaders raping children and covering it up. Those people aren't representative of their religions as a whole (well, that is tough to say when the leaders of the church are covering it up...). Just like how a few muslim terrorists aren't representative of their religion as a whole even though you desperately want to paint it as such. Did you miss the part where this guy was kicked out of his church for his extremest views? Again, what % of muslims do you believe agree with this? Of the billion + muslims in the world, how many have committed terrorist acts? The few muslims that are committing these attacks are angry and using their religion to justify it. The same way a few christians use the bible to justify things like bigotry and in the past, slavery. Christians actions are not near as extreme as muslims but I believe that has little to do with their religion and more to do with their environments. questioning the representation of Christians and not the same with Moslems in your examples just proves the previous posters point that you despise Christianity just a little bit more than the others.
  8. Poor Bill. He is so irrelevant he can't even get the Moslems to issue a fatwa on him.
  9. 200mb a month. How quickly can you burn through that, assuming no videos? Hours until 200MB Minutes per day for a monthReading news websites 2:25 hours 4.77 min/day Email (checking every 30 sec) 78:59 hours 155.89 min/day Streaming Pandora music 4:55 hours 9.7 min/day Making Skype calls 9:25 hours 18.6 min/day Browsing Facebook app 18:20 hours 36.2 min/day Streaming YouTube videos 2:40 hours 5.3 min/day ..... Found that on an AT&T site. I'm don't think you get quite that much music/YouTube with 200mb though
  10. http://www.netzero.net/ offers 200mb a month for free...... Freedom pop is another I'd forgot the name of. Prob limited coverage availability for both though.
  11. http://millenicom.com/plans/Good if you use a lot of data. More upfront costs and activation fee.
  12. That's a ####ty thing to do. Not worth the hassle imo. Love the unlimited ST plans and then harass their customers who use 100mb a day. That's why I've never bothered with them. Plus all their phones are still android 2.3.
  13. Im one that's more data than calls text so what I plan on doing is getting an ipad mini lte on Verizon and get their 4gb plan ( totals $40+ tax ) and use an app talkatone ( uses your google voice number to make calls/send texts ) to make the rare call/text I do.I don't know if they're offering that anymore. This is what I see on their tablet plans page:Prepaid Monthly Plans for Tablets Monthly Access Fee $20 $30 $50 $80 Monthly Data Allowance 1 GB 2 GB 5 GB 10 GB No activation or reconnection fees and no overage charges! I haven't really been looking at tablets in my data efforts, I plan to do that down the road. I think if you wanted a low call, high data plan, Tmo's $30 plan described above is your best bet. Not sure if you can use it with an iPad Mini. Do they make one that accepts SIM cards? I go to their website and go to buy the device with service and it gives the 4gb $30 - 6gb $40 -8gb 50 ect ect share plan. Each device has a 10 charge so a 4gb option would be $40 with one device. You married to the iPad mini idea? A less expensive alternative: http://phandroid.com/2013/04/09/asus-fonepad-release-date-price/ You get that unlocked and put it on Tmo's $30 plan (100mins/unl texts/5 GB data) you're doing pretty well imo. Hadn't seen that one. that would be a good option but unfortunately verizon is the only carrier available where I have to travel to for work.
