  1. Looters mixed in with the protesters. Good cops mixed in with the ones with hards-on to kill minorities. This time, there really are good people on both sides. It's a shame.
  2. The ones that broke free from the grid in Tron and drank that glowing water out of the frisbees they wore on their backs?
  3. Or a 5' 1" 105 lb woman locking up her business to go home for the day.
  4. I can't speak for him, but I can tell you I'm a NPA registered voter. I've probably cast 60-70% of my votes for Republicans over the years. Trump has alienated me so firmly that I'll be voting blue across the board nationally in 2020,and maybe forever.
  5. Also, I've now been directly called dishonest and ridiculous. I'm not the reporting type, and I'm not thin-skinned. I have, however, confined my criticisms to Trump and haven't gone after other posters individually. If doing so is no longer verboten, let me know please.
  6. I literally have no idea what you're talking about or what your point is. I'm talking about Trump politicizing the conflicts, which is precisely what he's doing, and you're talking about Biden determining who is and isn't black. What one has to do with the other is beyond my obviously limited comprehension. For the record, I don't care much for Biden either, so going after him is of no consequence to me. Have at it.
  7. I happen to think that Trump is complicit to an extent here and is doing nothing to help matters. Why is this thread in the Politics forum instead of the FFA if we're not free to opine on such matters? If this was in the FFA and I said any of these things, I'd get told to "take it to the Politics forum." So I did that. As far as my being "ridiculous," I did think that people were supposed to keep the discussion to politics and not cast aspersions on other posters, even here. If I'm mistaken, please let me know.
  8. I'm not painting "the right" as racists. I'm saying that the racists in this country are likely damn near 100% Trump supporters. Police and civil servants also support him. He knows it. If he condemns systemic racism in law enforcement, he acknowledges that it exists. If he does that, he instantly turns off a lot of his supporters. It's a lot easier to blame liberal mayors and governors for not squashing uprisings.
  9. I'm just waiting and watching to see how many of his supporters in government, all whom surely must know he's an imbecile, completely change their tune the minute he's no longer a threat to their own political aspirations. The stories are going to be epic. Also, to those individuals... I don't care what you say once he's gone. I won't ever forget what you said and did for these last 4 years.
  10. It's not a left/right issue. Not everything is Democrat/Republican. You've bought into the divide. Don't. Sometimes things can be about right and wrong.
  11. The point is, with all this going on, you don't think the President of the f***ing United States might want to call for peace rather than trying to blame the rioting on Democrats in an attempt to further his own agenda and enhance his chances at re-election?
