  1. Bruce Banner in Infinity War: "There's an Antman and a Spiderman?"
  2. In the scenes with Hawkeye in the tunnel, he appears to have on the same device Cap, Tony and Ant-man had in the leaked set photos. Perhaps, wherever he is, he's time traveling...
  3. Got to believe it's the latter. Nebula would have no need if it were the former.
  4. Yes, I think I have. As stated earlier, I've watched this guy throughout high school. I've seen him standing out in the cold at 7 AM opening car doors for K-2 grade drop off, I've seen him show up at kid's birthday party and play with them for an hour, I've seen him give a pregame talk and sign autographs for a 10U rec football team. Will he continue to grow, mature and change? Of course, but he's not going to suddenly become someone other than who he's always been. He wasn't on SI covers prior to this week, but he's been a celebrity in Cartersville, GA for the past 4 years and he's as grounded as anyone I've ever met.
  5. Why did you select those three guys, with well known character issues, as comparisons and examples of how players may not live up to expectations?
  6. I had the pleasure of watching him all through high school (same school that produced Ronnie Brown). He is obviously an unbelievable talent and that was apparent starting as a high school freshman. His poise and skills are off the chart. I would be shocked if he's not one of the best to ever play the position when it's all said and done.
  7. DLR talk/singing the parts he can't hit anymore or asking the audience to bail him out? Pass.
  8. I'd try and play some keep away then. Does your opponent have any obvious holes he might be looking to fill via FA? If so, use the spot that way.
  9. I admit I can be hypocritical when it comes to reboots/remakes. I enjoyed the new Spider Man. Although that was different because they were trying to (re)establish the character in a larger, evolving universe. Jumanji, while not completely original, did build on and reference an existing mythology/previous film. They didn't simply cast a younger actor in the Robin Williams role and try to hit all the same beats. I might even be on the lookout for info on Magnum for some of the same reasons you listed (copter), but there's probably not enough draw for me.
  10. I'm a fan of the original too, but I just don't understand banking on the name to pull in viewers when it's a completely different show. I feel the same about Hawaii 5-0, MacGyver, and all other Hollywood reboots. Beyond lazy. If you want to pitch a "Magnum-like" show then do so, but using original character names and the title is the epitome of laziness. Would you be as inclined to tune into a new show about a young handsome guy, driving nice cars in am exotic location and solving crimes? Or is it the Magnum hook that peaks your interest?
  11. Why? Who is this for? I believe most of the original's charm was derived from Selleck. You're not replicating that with the non-mustachioed impostor. Is there true Magnum P.I. fan who's turning in to watch this just because it has the same title and character names?
  12. Per James Gunn's Twitter, Adam Warlock will NOT be in Avengers 4. He goes on to say he's never said he'll be in GotG vol. 3, but he loves Warlock and didn't want him left out of the MCU entirely. He wanted to create a space for him that would have to be filled at some time. Gives example of long payoff for Thanos.
  13. I think there was a story line in the comics where Vision is destroyed/programming wiped and he comes back white and completely rebooted with no memory of his past. Could do something like that.
  14. I agree. I think he was scared to face Thanos since their last meeting didn't go so well for him. I'm sure that'll be a plot point in 4. How Hulk gets his groove back.
  15. This Everyday my wife leaves her empty K-cups and Splenda packs next to the coffee maker. Everyday I throw them away. I guess she has me trained pretty well. Also, leaving dishes with food in them in the sink. I'm not talking a little ketchup on the plate, I'm talking a cereal bowl with milk and cereal or a mug half full of coffee.
