  1. How quickly things change. Not too long ago, L. Robinson was an injury plagued do little fourth tier WR and now he is reasonable for Dez Bryant valu jumping up!
  2. Distance from Springfield to Columbia mmo 186 miles Distance from Springfield to Fayetteville 118 miles Arkansas campus closer to home by about an hour
  3. Curious as to the latest date of your dynasty rankings list. Are you updating somewhere other than the Tundra Dynasty rankings and I missed it?
  4. Rather than just look at the 09 fantasy points Moreno 16 gms 247 carries 947 yds 3.8 ypc 41 targets 28 catches 213 yds 7.6 ypc & 9 TDs Buckhalter 14 gms 120 carries 642 yds 5.4 ypc 38 targets 31 catches 240 yds 7.7 ypc & 1 TD Other than TDs Buckhalter performed better in every category. I didn't watch many of the Broncos games, but when I saw them play, Buckhalter looked better to me.
  5. Big fan of this thread and of F&L for consistently following up with people about their questions and comments. He is definitely a lot more patient than I would be. It is truly a shame to me that folks come here just to dog on his rankings. I think that the questions and feed-back are great and that alone makes the thread great for the information shared. Just wish that the tool factor so prevalent on the board during the season did not find its way here in the off-season. Thanks F&L for your work both here and on your blog.
  6. McCluster came to Ole Miss as a WR. He played almost exclusively as a WR until midway through his junior season. He has quite a bit of experience playing that position.
  7. Go Hogs! and welcome

  8. Out of all the threads that I read on this forum, this one stands out in that it discusses abilities and projections for future performances with the least amount of useless responses. I was partly responsible for the Roethlisberger discussion and I thoroughly enjoyed the banter that was backed up with stats and insights. Not all of us agreed on the Big Ben ranking, but almost all presented solid discussion points in their thoughts. Great thread. Keep it alive and keep it valuable.
  9. I agree that Roethlisberger is a great NFL QB, but in my opinion, he is almost universally overrated as a fantasy QB. I hear you say that 08 is his floor and 40 TDs and 4000 yds is his ceiling and that is what I am not buying. The Steelers are all about running the ball and playing outstanding defense. In Big Ben's career, look at the stats 04 14 gms 295 attempts 8.9 ypa 17 TDs and QB 20 ranking 05 13 gms 268 attempts 8.9 ypa 17 TDs and QB 18 ranking 06 15 gms 469 attempts 7.5 ypa 18 TDs and QB 12 ranking 07 15 gms 404 attempts 7.8 ypa 32 TDs and QB 5 ranking 08 16 gms 468 attempts 7.1 ypa 17 TDs and QB 17 ranking His history is that he stays in the pocket as long as he can and he gets hit a lot. He is big and strong and has a reputation of playing hurt, yet he has missed games in all his career. except this year. This year there were significant injuries at RB and they threw a little more. but he still finished 17th. I just don't see the high ceiling that you see.
  10. Check the individual position ratings - some more recent updates. There were a few more. Thanks for the tip.
  11. Just checked out the FBG Dynasty rankings and a little disappointed. Only one update since the middle of November. Seems like January might be a good time to review these.
  12. Dynasty RankingsI think you're probably going to have to move a young stud WR like Jennings, Marshall, or White to even sniff at CJ. Thanks for the link. It is now saved so I won't have to look for it again!
  13. I love visiting this thread and have F & L site saved as a favorite that I review from time to time. I know the folks that post here are always good for dynasty discussion. I have two questions: 1) Where are FootballGuys dynasty rankings? 2) In a ppr league with 0.5 for RBs and 1.0 for WRs and you can play from 2 to 4 RBs or WRs, what would be an appropriate WR to trade to acquire Chris Johnson. I see him as the heart and soul of the Titans who are and have been a run first and run second team.
  14. He sure is a tough guy for his size. He seems like a very smart football player in addition to having that track speed. He is fun to watch play for sure. The short yardage carries that are going to White may save him from the rookie wall. Glad to own him on both redraft and dynasty.
  15. Hmmm, 11 pounds lighter and an inch taller seems like a big difference to me. He is much slighter than Faulk.and there is the gist of the great 08 BMI debate, does CJ's atleticism overcome his lower tier BMI? Great fun here and the thread has been reasonably recapped in the lastfew threads for those that did not join at the premier and are not inclined to read all of these pages.
  16. This is definitelygoing to be one of the most watched fantasy players in the early season. I too like the athleticism of Johnson and have high hopes for him.
  17. I think that a single rookie RB with a thread of over 750 posts is phenomenal. This BMI discussion has got to be the debate of the summer. I will be intently watching both McFadden and Chris Johnson, both of which I own is separate dynasty leagues. I think that their skill sets are awesome and I can't wait to watch them play in the NFL. I am hoping that they both do well. From my perspective, skills have to be more important than a height/weight factor, especially when the differences are so slight. But, maybe there is not that much of a variance in the skill sets either.
  18. Pretty sure because da Bears signed Kevin Jones
  19. Really enjoyed you AC thread, mostly gleaning invaluable dynasty information in my first dynasty season!

    GREAT JOB!

  20. Yes.1) If you haven't already, download and install the Lineup Dominator.2) Click the File menu, and then the Get Latest Weekly Projections menu option.3) Close the LD, and make sure the DD is closed too.4) Copy the Players.dat, SOS.dat and DepthCharts.dat from your C:\Program Files\LineupDominator subdirectory to your C:\Program Files\DraftDominator subdirectory.5) Startup the Draft Dominator.Just tried this. When I open the DD, it shows no projections now. Anyone have a suggestion or can help? Not me yet. I also attempted that and woound up with no projections.I will try again shortly.
  21. Is there an easy process to load the actual 2006 stats into the draft dominator to replace the projections? Early start on preparations for next year. Thanks
