  1. Has it always been that way for Phenoms dynasty leagues, or did the need for 3 years pay suddenly develop this year? I think it's been that way for a while to encourage people to stick around rather than drafting a redraft type team selling all your draft picks and then quitting if you don't contend for the title.
  2. Something I haven't seen mentioned here is that players who joined Dynasty leagues this year (like me) for the first time at Phenoms had to pay year 1 AND year 2 (as a deposit). So in a $100 league you pay 200$. We got doubly screwed
  3. This is BS. He's already making profit off every league by keeping his commission 10%-20%. If he dipped into the escrow money then he's a crook. Whether he just stole all the money and ran or if this BS software story is legit he's a dirtbag Ponzi schemer. I joined 4 dynasty leagues there and one high stakes league. I better get my $ back.
  4. :huh:You're aware that every team in the league bypassed him for the entire draft, right? Where do you think he walks in as a clear cut #2? People keep talking about how awesome his talent is. I guess NFL management without exception are missing it. Maybe "walks in as the #2" was a poor choice of words. How about Arizona? After Ellington it's trash. Have you watched his tape? I think most would agree he's got NFL talent.
  5. Wut? It's obvious the Browns don't value him. Not even a snap in the first preseason game? He had plenty of other suitors lined up. They will line up again. He needs to get out and get a shot with a team that is more depleted and value what he can do. It's obvious the Browns aren't even going to give him a shot at climbing the depth chart. I'd like to see him with a team where he Walks in as the clear cut #2. if there was a situation where he'd be handed the clear #2 don't you think that team would've drafted him? There are plenty of situations where he could have an easier path to the primary backup. If nfl scouts never missed on anyone then there would be no busts and no successful UDFAs

  7. The Browns need to cut him immediately so he can go to a team that will use him. Tons of teams were interested but his Agent wrongly thought Cleveland was his best shot. The sooner he gets cut the better for Crowell owners.
  8. Just got one today I thought was a joke. Keep in mind this is a DYNASTY league He offers: Antonio Gates Delanie Walker For my: Christine Michael Austin Seferian Jenkins
  9. Nobody is arguing he is a great NFL QB or that he is showing elite potential. But the optimism isn't unrealistic if you allow for the possibility that his mechanics have been improved over the summer (he admitted he didn't know how to throw a football) and to me it looks like as long as he can extend the play he can find an open receiver. His rushing #'s for QB's are probably going to be top 5 in the NFL if not top 3. He's a better passer than Tebow and we all know how good he was for fantasy owners. Sure there's going to be tons of mistakes and it won't be pretty but the risk is practically ZERO and the upside is better than anything you can get scraping the bottom of the QB 2 barrel.
  10. All aboard the Pryor Train as my QB2! For those that didn't draft a backup like me this was a gift. He looks like a completely different passer from that atrocious preseason game in '12. Maybe all that work with his Brady's QB tutor worked! CPalmer said this kid was the hardest working QB he's seen. Obviously he wants it and is getting better and putting in the work. Giev this kid some time to see what you've got. He's sitting behind Kaep for me in my 14 teamer so I don't nee to rely on him but I would rather have the upside on my bench rather than have a Ponder, or Gabbert sitting there wasting space.
  11. Exactly...with Goodson you expected a feature role if RunDMC ever went down. this is now a committee to completely avoid...maybe Reece in a flex if you're desperate.
  12. Update on Goodson - apparently didn't need x-rays. From The SF chronicle about Goodson: As for Goodson, the fourth-year running back turned his ankle in the third quarter after replacing McFadden. Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle reported after the game that team doctors felt Goodson didn't need X-rays so his injury is probably just a pain tolerance issue at this point.
  13. Nevermind just found the game. Goodson now limped off...could be the Taiwan Jones show next
  14. who's getting the snaps in place of DMC? Goodson? TJones? Reece?
