  1. Is there a way to sync the old version of the Draft Dominator with the new version of the draft dominator....or do I have to redo all my league settings for all my leagues??  The greatest thing about the old version is that I set my leagues years ago and only had to update the program.  Now it seems as though I have to start all over again.

Does this new version of the Draft Dominator need to be connected to wifi during the draft or is it like the old version where wifi was not required??  I loved not having to be on wifi in order to draft.  While everyone was dealing with slow internet due to the large number of devices connected, I didn't have to worry about it at all.

    Thanks!

  2. For whatever reason, SD seems intent on giving either Gordon or Oliver the majority of the touches until they're trailing and forced to put in Woodhead. The SD offense is obviously at its best going tempo and with Woodhead in the game, but I guess Mike McCoy doesn't like winning.

My thoughts exactly! At one point in the second half I thought Woodhead must have been injured. Then he comes in on the last two drives has 6+ catches and scores 2 TDs.

WHY DONT THEY USE HIM ALL GAME!!!!!!

  3. Is any one concerned that he had a big first half but was relatively quiet the second half? Didn't get to watch the game but did the Baltimore D adjust? If so, will other teams do the same?

There wasn't any additional coverage, he was spending more time blocking. He was the only skill position player not named Peyton Manning to be in on every single offensive snap.

Even if the defense adjusted, it went toward him leaving the WR's to do damage. At the begining of a game if the defense plans for JT in a similar way, the WR's will benefit forcing halftime adjustments in that direction giving JT one on one in the second half.

Plus, in the second half , Manning was desperately trying to get DT and Decker more involved. On DTs first TD, JT was wide open running down the seam.....easily could have been his third TD.

  4. So, when was your first Howard Stern experience?Mine was his movie.Being up in Canada, we didn't listen to his radio show, and I'd never heard of him.My cousin saw the movie and called me and was like, you GOT to see this movie.I waited for it to come out on VHS and rented it, and it blew me away. It was a great movie, and I had to know more about this guy and his show. Finally he came to Toronto on Q107 and my commutes were like heaven.Of course, until the CRTC (aka the Canadian FCC), kept fining him, until Q107 dropped his show. After a drought, a while later I found him on a Buffalo channel, but that was good radio but too much of the Bush/FCC crap. They dropped him before his last shows, so I never heard the end.And I was (stupidly) too cheap to get in on Sirius right away, and FINALLY signed up in Jan 08 when I got a Sirius radio as a Groomsman gift from my cousin who first told me about Stern's movie.Stern in the am and Pat Kirwan in the pm make for great commuting.

Mine was in the early 90s when he came to LA. I still remember the ad they put in the Sports section of the LA Times.

  5. I usually love Artie and Gilbert is my favorite guest of all time, but today was neither of their best days. You can even tell Howard was very annoyed during the news.Artie attacking Amy Fisher in front of Lou was gold however.

Seriously. Gilbert was out of control....which gave Artie the impression he could go biserk. It was a total mess. BUT...Artie and Lou going at it was hilarious!

  6. this morning was brutal listening to Howard rip on Oprah for her no-show XM deal. Uh, hey Howie.....you work 20 hour weeks, like 40 weeks a year. The actual banter was funny, but talk about hypocritical

So he works more hours than her in one week than she does in a year and hes being hypocritical....I dont get it.

  7. Anyone else feel the least bit awkward when Stern, a man worth 100's of millions and appears to have lost his interest in doing radio full time, is shilling these Klondike bars like they're going out of style? I get the fact that the show needs breaks for bathroom or what not, but do they really need him to do the gotomypc.com ads during these breaks? How much are these companies paying him?

I don't know any specifics of his deal with sirius but if it involved any stock incentives he's going to need to keep shilling. The price has dropped down to 60 cents a share.
First off...I dont think hes lost interest at all. I just think hes getting older and is at a point in his career where he has the power to take time off when he wants. I dont fault him at all. Hes been getting up at 4:30 am for what 20+ years now...give the man a break.Secondly...those companies arent paying HIM...they are paying Sirius.

  8. They're going to lose a lot of subscribers off of that. That's unbelievable.

I dont get the rational to this statement...why on earth would they lose subscribers over this? They aired it twice...West Coast and East Coast feed and decided that it was enough. Out of respect for Artie and his meltdown, Howard decided not to replay it over and over again. I doubt this will be on Howard TV also...at least not til after the vacation and Howard can talk to Artie. I respect that.

  9. Damn, vaca next week.Makes Artie's days off that much more ridiculous.

I wish someone would tally the amount of days Artie worked on the show the past year. Over/Under 160?
Considering they work 4 days/week for less than 52 weeks, I'll take the under. Easiest friggin job in history <_<
Actually they get 10 weeks off a year, so it is 42 weeks. So he is starting from a base of 168.
Wow, hack off weekday holidays and they really dont work much huh.
At least he is still on. Id rather have Howard half the year than not at all....

  10. What projections/rankings do you guys use for the Draft Dominator? In looking at the rankings for my DD comapred with the overall rankings on the site, and there are a lot of discrepencies.

I know my league uses different scoring system, but its not that dfferent. My league uses 1 point per 10 yards rushing and receiving with 6 points for TDs instead fo every 20 yards....and 1 point per 25 for passing with 6 points per td and -2 for ints instead of 20 4 and -1.

Basically whos rankings/projections are used? Thanks.

  11. Does anyone else change the station immediately when you see "October 1994" on the Sirius display?

    Seriously... who cares???

I do...I love it. I enjoy Fridays as much as the rest of the week. As far as I'm concerned they can pick any day that Howard has worked and I will laugh my #### off. Im constently reminded of how great the cast and crew are.
I hate to be this simplistic about it, but I don't care for the old shows as much because they can't use foul language.

Let's face it... F-bombs are funny. Especially the material in roasts. How bland would those roasts have been on terrestrial?

That's how I feel. I thought this old stuff was going to be played uncensored, but I guess that couldn't be done.

As for replacing Howard, that will never happen. That will be the end of an era. Others will come, but it will never be The Howard Stern Show.

I take it you arent a history major. And if you need to drop F-bombs in order to be funny...you arent funny.

It is uncensored....they just didnt drop F-bombs because they are professionals. When other guests mess up, you hear it. And the reaction from Stern and the crew is hilarious.

History major? ;) You think they didn't drop F-bombs because they were professionals? And you've been listening to Howard for how long?
I miss read the first part. The history thing was in reference to not like listening to it because it was old...and not because of the profanity aspect.

Ive been listening to Howard as long as I can remember and even when he came to Sirius originally he didnt want it to be an F-bomb party. In the second week on Sirius he banned Sal because he was using profanity for no apparent reason. Howard is a pro and he doesnt need profanity to be funny...that was the point of my professional statement. If you listen, he rarely curses. Its Artie, Sal, Richard, and the rest of the ####### that use profanity. Howard only uses it when it needed...not as a filler like most of the people on the show. As far as Im concerned, the old shows are just as funny even without the profanity.

Jackie puppet is one of my all time favorites. I never stop laughing when I hear it. Its better than the real Jackie by far.

  14. Hypocrite is a bit much. Ive said for a long time that I dont plan on getting married...im 29 and still not married. But Im sure one day I will give in and do it....just not for a long time. Maybe I will wait til im 53 and marry a 32 year old hottie.

The way I see it...the first one NEVER works out....so might as well skip the first one and go right to the second one...
