  2. Hmmm..I thought it was always planned for Covid patients but apparently it was just approved yesterday by Trump, at the request of Cuomo, for that use.
  3. Are they using Javits yet?
  4. Just crossed over a million cases worldwide on worldometer
  5. Coronavirus: Potential vaccine generates enough antibodies to fight off virus, first peer-reviewed study suggests
  6. Thanks! I bought the 50pc. Arrives in late April but I'm guessing it will come earlier.
  7. No, but I've tried helping a few people here that contacted me in private about getting into VO. No one has followed through once you realize how much time, money and work is actually involved in doing it seriously.
  8. My audio visual work is done for the foreseeable future I don't expect events to make a comeback any time soon. My voiceover work has slowed considerably but will shift big time with eLearning and other factors changing the industry, especially for those who can record from home.
  9. At first we were concerned how this will affect selling our house but now think that there will be a demand for something only 20 minutes outside the city, with a nice little yard and a garage, walkable for almost anything you need. It was already starting to go up in price due to influx from Brooklyn but this should at least keep the price at about where it was before the virus. We're hoping to still get around 800k for it.
  10. Total count of COVID-19 cases based on patient address by ZIP code
  11. Oh, didn't know you have inside info on potential and possible impending threats. Sorry.
  12. He's up there for almost 2 hours every night. You'll get the CV update and questions in.
  13. The people criticizing those opening remarks should be ashamed of themselves. We may be considered vulnerable to those that might want to take the opportunity to harm us. I think it was a clear statement to both our neighbors to the south and abroad that the US will have none of it right now. A sad reality connected to this virus.

  15. Interesting press conference. Must be a huge amount of drugs trying to be shipped across our southern border while we are battling the virus.
  16. Probably a silly question but how does the virus get in through your eyes? I understand the nose and mouth as a direct access to your lungs.
  17. Yeah, I watched a video posted here early in the thread. Absolute horror. I wanted to show my wife but once they got to the animals in cages I knew that wasn't happening. Disgusting.
  18. We were just talking about this on the drive back. Once this is over, I think the cops will be out in force making up lost revenue. So, we had to go in so my wife could get the mail for incoming checks. She works in the garment district. I sat in the car for about 15 minutes waiting for her and wow, probably about 80% of the people that were walking around were homeless or in some sort of mental duress. It was bizarre. That area isn't great to begin with but it was kinda shocking. Not as bad as we drove up to the bridge in better areas. I watched one guy use a pay phone, no mask, no gloves, just like any other day.
  19. Looks like meter rules still apply so no parking in commercial spots. Thanks!
  20. I have to drive into the city tomorrow. Anyone know if they are still following commercial parking rules?
  21. All I have is a pack of dust type masks in the garage. I think there's like 5 or 6 in the pack. What's my best option to pick some up?
  22. While the condo we bought in December in Boise sits vacant, we are thankful that we had the chance to buy and furnish it. We have no idea how selling our house here in NY will go but we know we are ready to go asap and hope to be there by the winter. We are extra motivated to get out of here now.
