  1. Cut and paste (then fill in the blank) is your friend here.
  2. Completely baseless assertion. Great example of why I never would take that much time to respond to a post by you though. Well that's a pleasant response. It's hardly baseless. Congress has at least 50% Republicans, plus many Democrats that would oppose splitting up the banks. The only ones in favor are progressive Democrats of the Warren/Sanders faction, who are a minority and always have been. You need a majority in both House and Senate, how are you going my to get one on this issue? Not going to happen. That's not baseless at all; it's reality. You are incapable of actually discussing the issues, just flinging around your own views on politics as the gospel. It is very annoying. And he wonders why all of his predictions are wrong.
  3. I don't think it's possible for Cruz to make anyone look foolish. Did you watch that exchange?
  4. Trump is making a fool of himself. This could be the beginning of the end.
  5. Going back and forth from the White House and Court House.....well done Jeb
  6. I doubt that had anything to do with it. Or the emails. I think it's mainly Bernie going to Iowa and staying on message. His message resonates with the Democratic base. Hillary is unable to match it, because he's more idealistic and she's more pragmatic, and the base in Iowa wants the idealism. It's really that simple IMO. Interesting article on this topic of Hillary dropping in the polls. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/01/why-is-hillary-slipping/423798/
  7. That's because you ignore any information that doesn't fit your beliefs and then you claim that subject/info bores you.
  8. And don't forget the comic relief we will get from Tim and squissy here if that happens.
  9. I guess we can have that discussion when we get there...we are not remotely close to there. if by "remotely close" you mean a season then I would agree with you. He pulls the same shenanigans on another team next year whether its Dallas or whoever then the kid is done. Kaput.perhapsLet me guess....Texas A&M alum? Or Manziel's cousin? Even the big mouths who were tooting Johnny Crackpipe's horn all year have abandoned the thread. At this point, most people are hoping he straightens out before he ends up dead. No one is thinking of an NFL career anymore. Vince Young and Jamarcus Russel got second chances years after failing as starting NFL QBs. Johnny hasn't even failed yet and we are ready to say his career is near to over. Cmon fellas. He hasn't failed yet? What the hell type of grade would you give him for his first two seasons in the NFL? Guess what....the grade is a big fat F! Not true, several NFL analysts have stated Johnny showed significant improvement and promise this year...as did his coaches. Yet it appears he is done in Cleveland and there isn't expected to be much demand for him. Again, you are missing out on his off field antics, and his lack of commitment as an NFL quarterback. So what grade would you give him? http://nypost.com/2016/01/07/johnny-manziel-fell-apart-when-he-was-playing-his-best/

You seem to be missing out on one key element of this....Johnny's off field issues, antics and behavior.
  11. I guess we can have that discussion when we get there...we are not remotely close to there. Yes...yes we are close to there.
  12. Yes, they are the ones paying for the care. As I've mentioned here quite a few times I became a father a little less than 6 months ago. The total bill for my wife's delivery and stay, and my son's birth and 6 days in the nursery was over $40k. Our out of pocket expense was well under $10k. They took on the risk for my family - and for millions of others. Without them (in our current system), people would be going bankrupt left and right. My statement was in response to the ACA - if the government was to get involved in health care. Had they taken care of the .3% (in the case of this particular carrier) premiums for the other 99.7% could have been far lower. And isn't that was the "affordable care act" promised? THEY are not paying for #### - they are using other mine and other people's money to pay for care. You treat them they are doing it altruistically and not the leeches sucking 20% off top that they are.
  13. That is somewhat true....he won't have just one shot for years...he will be having plenty of shots while he is out partying.
