  1. Considering his commercials have been cut down from 20 minutes per hour to about 7, I am not sure what your gripe is. He easily makes up for the lack of a Friday show with more programming during the other 4 days.Commercial breaks have been well over 7 minutes the last few weeks. The replays from January/February seem to have far less commericals than the "new" shows. On my ride to work in the AM the breaks are now around 10 or 11 minutes. It's still the best $12 I spend a month.3 months later and it's gotten much much worse.More commercials you mean? The commercial breaks have never 10-11 minutes. Are you counting bits and songs too?The breaks are much more frequent. Amazingly though, they were much less frequent during the free trial. I stand by the fact that the breaks are well over 10 minutes (at least they feel like they are). *I count the songs as part of the break...if I wanted music, I'd tune in to one of the other 200 stations or put a CD in.
  2. He'd have to give up Howard. Wonder how much that interests Jackie.A good part of Jackies magic was that he drove Howard nuts with his money demands. If he were to come back, there is no way that'd happen.Plus, Jackie wasn't even that funny on the roast. The dude is 62 years old and his humor is starting to become dated.
  3. Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange is the newest name under consideration by Fox as it looks to expand its late-night presence. The Mad TV alum has signed a new development deal with Fox, and among the possibilities Lange has discussed with Fox as part of the deal include a new late-night talk show, a new sitcom, or being cast into an existing sitcom. After launching weekly Saturday late night show Talk Show with Spike Feresten this season, Fox is actively looking to develop either a companion piece or another show that could eventually see them move back into the weeknight late night battle. Lange acknowledged the deal Wednesday morning on Stern’s Sirius Satellite Radio program. A Fox spokesperson confirmed the deal Wednesday morning. Don't go Artie, don't go.

  5. YEM, Tweezer, ####, all of their jams are all good to go. Not all the time, but then again no band will ever be on every single night. I'm just saying I'd much rather listen to a 89 YEM than I would a 99 YEM.The 35 min Tweezers were cool when I was in my "Phish can do no wrong" days, but now when I hear one after about 15 min I'm waiting to hear them go back into the familiar Tweezer Chords.
  6. Alot of the older stuff is tighter. As the years progressed they tended to get a little more noodley and a little too spacey sometimes. I can do without a 30 minute Tweezer. The 7/21/91 was really a perfect suggestion for you. They also have a new live 3cd set of the '88 Colorado tour. That'd be worth picking up.
  7. No clue, but I'm sure once he finds out Howard will let us know on a daily basis 'til he retires.
  8. Agreed. Yesterday's Mastertape Theater was pretty boring.Howard has been promising a documentary on the prank calls for months but we still have nothing on HTV.
  9. I agree 100%. I'll probably cancel it after the Booey roast is aired. There is an occasional treat on it, but they don't do enough to keep it fresh. That Kanyon interview was great, one of the best on Sirius, and it's not even on HTV yet. They'll keep that off, but put up another boring sybian ride (brutal radio btw) and the wheel of farts instead? I'm sure they are waiting 'til tomorrow for Artie to kiss Iris and make it all one segment, but I would have liked to have seen it the day after it was on.
  10. I never would have thought that Chris Kanyon would have been a great guest. The guy is obviously a huge fan of the show, was completely honest and willing to answer anything, and was willing to play along with Richard and Sal's gay antics. The Blue Iris bet was a great idea, but there is no way I can root for Kanyon on that one. Who better than Kanyon?
  11. Absolutely hilariousGreat show today.
  12. I can't believe JD wouldn't let Kim Kane record their good time. She is pretty hot. That would have been a immediate classic.
  13. @ Artie eating a braciole and broccoli rabe sammich at 6 am.
  14. Memo to Howard... No one cares about the ICP. Please, no more invites to a band that didn't matter 10 years ago, and they certainly don't now.
