  1. Njoku is 23 and Davis is 24...how could you say that at all? prior to breaking his wrist, Njoku had 4 catches for 37 yards and a TD...it's not like Henry has been the pillar of health himself with two straight years with major injuries. I don't have a dog in the fight but i couldn't decide which side won this deal and thought it would be interesting to discuss.
  2. I guess it depends on your point of view. I think Henry is easily a top 5 TE and at 24 will be for a very long time. Njoku is young as well and prior to breaking his wrist, easily could have been considered a top 10 TE (9th last year in PPR) and Davis is 24, has stud potential and has yet to play with a real QB, and is coming up on free agency in 2021. I think it's much closer than you'd think upon first inspection. it's current value versus future value, and tied significantly into dynasty.
  3. this one is hard to judge - Hunter Henry for David Njoku and Corey Davis the team trading Henry is the worst team in the league and the team getting him is making a push for the playoffs and obviously struggling to fill TE with Djoku hurt.
  4. i see him listed 15th https://www.footballdb.com/leaders/active-rushing-attempts and at 16 carries a game, i wouldn't call that overworked. i think being at that point in the list is indicative that RBs just don't last that long in the NFL
  5. sometimes the better running backs aren't the ones you pin as the best. Even still, you know what you're getting in Gordon. he's 26. he's had trouble playing 16 games in a season but that also means he's not overworked thus far in his career.
  6. i think the team getting Cousins/Howard just didn't think they could win without the depth. who knows. I got the 1st rounder. my theory here is that Kirk is older and not going to get any better. Howard is what he is at this point and already has a bunch of carries under his belt. he's only 24 but feels older already. the first rounder gives me three players in most likely the top 13 picks. that's certainly worth it to me. i need volume players i can start.
  7. This trade just went down in my 12 team Dynasty league: Kirk Cousins Jordan Howard For: 1st Round Rookie Pick 3rd Round Rookie Pick team trading Cousins/Howard has worst record in league and Team trading Picks has best record in league
  8. no one would ever trade a defense for a pick in my league. defenses never retire. 12 team league so only so many teams can have 3. i was desperate my 2nd year in the league (we've been going 14 years now) and i traded the saints defense for a pick and a starting running back. i won a championship, largely due to that trade and still i regret it 12 years later.
  9. Colin Kaepernick was in purgatory on my dynasty team. i finally cut him earlier this season and someone else snapped him up. guess i should have tried shopping him...
  10. 12 team league - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, RB/WR, WR/TE, TE, K, DEF Team A - Jimmy Graham, 3rd Round Pick Team B - Greg Olsen Another deal: Team A - Corey Coleman, 3rd Round Pick Team B - Demaryius Thomas
  11. so, ok...i know we're down on McFadden but how down? I have an opportunity to get him in my Dynasty league and I can't wrap my head around what I would give. the owner claims another owner offered him a WR, a backup RB, and a 1st round rookie pick (a pretty decent one). The owner has Larry Fitzgerald, Randall Cobb, Dexter McCluster, and Nate Washington at WR. Can't imagine they would have sent Fitz or Cobb but i guess you never know. Backup running back I'm guessing is David Wilson. Where would you place DMC's value?
