  1. I love how people in this thread are harping on his YPC. He's had many short-yardage attempts (yes, that mostly failed) that have lowered his YPC. You know, attempts where the defense KNOWS he's attempting to get that one single yard. That will kill any RB's average YPC.
  2. I REALLY hope you don't play dynasty. If so, its amazing that you haven't learned the painful lesson of "patience" with rookies, especially young RB's.
  3. What does it say?I'm on my phone and couldn't find anythingAgreed. What did ESPN say?
  4. Even if he doesn't hit those numbers, I think its too early for him to hit the waiver wire unless you have pretty shallow rosters. This is dynasty, after all.
  5. What is it with people confusing Dez Bryant with Dez White? Unless this is the same guy as before.
  6. If they are any good at working the waiver wire, they should be all right.
  7. He is obviously not an impact rookie. Good luck to those of you who have him in dynasty leagues. 3.5 fantasy points per game just doesn't cut it for me. I only keep championship-caliber players which Ingram most definitely is not.The list of rookie RB's who ended up being fantasy studs, but did nothing their first two games on the field, is long. Very long. The list of rookie RB's who ended up being fantasy duds, and did nothing their first two games on the field, is long. Very long too!Very true! So we should differ to you, as GreenNGold from FBG's is obviously the guy who can make the distinction between the two.

  9. This thread clearly says "Mark Ingram HOF bandwagon". That doesn't imply long-term thinking to you, and thus, dynasty talk?Get over yourself, and decipher for yourself whether re-draft or dynasty is being talked about. Its not tough. But to attempt to lay "re-draft boundaries" on any Ingram discussion is pretty selfish and arrogant, if you ask me.Just because that's what YOU need and want to read, doesn't mean that's the case for everyone. Its not all about you. And its not all about re-drafters. We can co-exist.This comment puts it over the top: Get a hold of yourself. This is incredibly self-serving and insulting.
  10. 2nd half, up on the Bears, I expect the Saints to pound it with Ingram.
  11. I really don't get the "slow" thing from people. I thought he looked pretty quick last night. And I thought he ran aggressively...in fact, there were multiple comments in the game thread from people saying he was "running angry".
  12. He's got a ridiculous 10-yard split, and runs with power. Not every back can have 4.3-4.4 speed.
  13. Totally different skill set. Hawk "covering" Sproles won't be a match-up they get every week.
  14. FF owners can be the most over-reactive types around. Man, one game.
  15. Randy Moss 15th? I don't think he should be 15th in redraft, let alone dynasty. The link in his sig is outdated. Just go to the website manually, which is updated.
  16. Exactly the rationale that led me to trade for Ryan. I'm reasonably certain I'll be rolling with him as my starter, too. And I'm shockingly unfazed by that, which surprises me, since I traded Rivers not too long ago and was very worried when my best QB was Fitzpatrick. But I'm very comfortable with Ryan, now that Ive acquired him. He's ready to take that next step. Many say that Flacco is underrated and is a similar talent to Ryan. I don't beleive that. But perhaps more importantly, the Ravens haven't done as well a job as the Falcons have in surrounding their young franchise QB with talent conducive to huge fantasy numbers. Rice will be the star of that show for a few more years; honestly, the best thing that could happen to Flacco owners would be for that defense to finally degrade once Lewis and Reed leave/age, because they'll be less conservative on offense. Back to Ryan, I think that the huge investment in Jones, and the drafting of Quizz Rodgers, makes the future plans clear for all to see: Ryan is the centerpiece of that offense now.
  17. Very true, and like any competent organization, they're preparing for the future now by drafting Quizz and Julio. When this deal goes through and I get Ryan, I'll hope that Turner ages fast for both our sakes haha. Not sure if the organization is all that competent. They gave away 6 picks, two of them first rounders to get Jones. The Falcons have holes on defense, too many to be making deals like this, imo.Well, until that trade you could definitely label the Falcons of the last few years as a competent organization...and teams do crazy things when they think they're on the verge of competing for a Super Bowl.
  18. Was this guy's team the Wyoming Cowboys? Had a guy in a league few years back who did this to multiple owners.you guys are too sensitive. the guy just wants you to make the first offer. No, it wasn't like that. The guy wasn't a good owner. His team never won more than 2 games. We only started 1 QB, and this guy rostered anywhere from 8-12 of them with possibly 2 who were starters. He had a history of making horrible offers. You don't know what you're talking about.I would have petitioned for that guy to be out of the league long ago, then. That kind of crap really unbalances a league, and makes it less fun. A 2/3 vote should have been able to do it, in this extreme circumstance.

  20. Bump. Also a huge Ryan fan, he's my starter in our dynasty league. Interestingly I have the 1.01 and 1.03 in this year's draft, and a guy in my division has the 1.02. I think he's going to take Jones to counter Ryan if I take Ingram with the 1.01, but if I take Jones with the first pick he'll take Ingram and I'll end up with Green and Jones. Helluva decision for me (starters are MJD, Mendy, A. Bradshaw, Austin, and Steve Johnson with Bradshaw as a flex). With your lineup, I think I'd be fine with taking Jones and Green, if he snags Ingram at 1.2. Anyways, Ryan is about to be my starter as well, and I'm very excited about his potential this year in that offense. With the drafting of Jones and Rodgers, they're obviously putting the offense more in his hands, and moving away from an aging Turner.
  21. How do you guys have Romo and Ryan ranked? I'm a huge Ryan fan, and the addition of Julio only solidifies that. Romo I think will have a HUGE bounce-back year if he stays healthy, but he's also 5 years older.
  22. Besides the fact that he's already clarified it in this thread, its not hard to figure out where the 1.2 came from if you read his original post.It says it came from a team that was 2-7 at the time of the trade--aka, another team's 1st.
