  1. Congrats. I was done at 5.8 over the cut line before last night and thought I was toast. The line somehow only moved 5.2 and I made it through by .6. Anyone know if there is a chance of scoring changes or am I safe?
  2. The guy has earned $100+ million not including endorsements. I don't know his reasons, but getting even more money that he probably won't spend in his lifetime may not be very important to him.
  3. Brady and Olsen may have given me a very, very long shot of making it. 158.4 with Wheaton (-12.1) and Cousins (-33.3) left. I basically need a repeat of last week from Wheaton. Wish he could have waited a week to blow up
  4. It's not working for anyone. Have to calculate points the old fashioned way, but no way to know where the cutline is at.
  5. At 125.00 with only Brady/Cousins (-21.2), Olsen (-7.1), and Wheaton (-12.1) left. Hopefully I'm missing something, but probably going to need a miracle... Good luck everyone
  6. Wow, Wheaton. I was in 10th place after Thurs thanks to Stafford/Calvin, and now in 12th this week. My team absolutely blew up for 220+. Good luck everyone.
  7. I'm one of 17 Lesean McCoy owners left. I have quite a few commonly owned players, so I'll definitely be rooting for him as a differentiator.
  8. Yeah, it has Cousins with 2.8 while he has 3 TDs so far today.
  9. Probably would have been good to give her a 20 and say keep it...but it was a 20% tip. Hope you did not give her a 20 and ask for two bucks back though. Sort of. When I walked in, they told me the credit card machine was down, so I had to go to the ATM nearby. When I was done, I paid with a 20, and she gave me ones as change. I grabbed three of them and put it on the counter. Damn...I think you're right that I should have just told her to keep it. She's cut my hair a couple of times and does a good job.
  10. So, how much do you tip for a haircut? I got a haircut today. It was just Great Clips for $15, and I left $3. It looked like the girl was almost disappointed, so it got me wondering. I also commented that she did a good job, so maybe she was expecting more? I always thought a couple of dollars was an alright tip for that price of haircut.
  11. Not having Julio will affect a large portion of the field though, as almost 1,900 Julio owners remained this week out of 3,100. The number of Julio owners should outnumber those being knocked out (700), so it should impact the cutline as well. Where it should get interesting is how strong people are at WR outside of Julio, and I will say that you're looking better than me for sure.
  12. Finally cracked the top 500 after putting up 195.1 last week. My team has somehow been incredibly consistent with only 1 week under 180 and no weeks above 200. It's weird because I have different players scoring each week it seems. I'm just not sure I have the upside to make a deep run, though I'm glad it's a 3-week total if I make the final 250.
  13. I usually go with 4 TEs with this format, but I went with 3 this year and it's been working out great so far. My 3 TEs of Olsen, Eifert, and Tamme have scored 10 times for me at an average of ~38 pts per week. The three cost exactly as much as Gronk. This is definitely the best I've done in this contest so far. Hope to keep it going. Here's the link to my team if anyone cares
  14. I'm kind of wondering if he's a little too big. Hard to argue with the success he's having so far, but the dude looks like a tight end out there. Seems like that bulk could put him at higher risk for lower body injuries. He actually said this offseason that he dropped 5 lbs to 224. He might look like a tight end, but he's not that big. I ain't buyin' it. Dude looks almost as big as Jordan Reed. He's not that far off in height and weight at 6'3 225 or so, but I guess that's what happens when you compare one of the smallest TEs to one of the biggest WRs. Big wide receivers are big.
