  1. Well lets be real then and count ACTUAL TOP WRs instead of some middle of the road WRs (not saying Sherman covered anyone though just saying against the Seahawks in general) Elite WRs: Steve Smith - 6 for 51 + 1 TD - Good Day (Average for the year) Andre - 9 for 110 (above average for year) - one of the worst games for the Hawks on defense Good WRs: Boldin - Got shut down (1 great, 3 good, 3 bad games this season) Shorts - 8 for 143 (above average for year) - can't blame Shorts for the Hawks taking out players stats are stats Wayne - 6 for 65 (average game for year) - "shut down" as one Seahawks fan calls it is ludicrous as this is his normal week and he can't help that Hilton was torching the Seahawks for 150 and 2 TDs Hilton - 5 for 150 (above average) Fitzgerald - 2 for 17(worst game of season) Below Average WR Games: Britt - 1 for 7 (had 0 or 1 catch in every game but 1 this season) In the end you can say Fitz and Wayne are still elite but one had a very average year last year with below average work at QB and the other is on the wrong side of 30 and doesn't deserve a title other than was an elite WR who is still a great WR but just a little bit past his best days. Also, the Seahawks are one of the best out there but you can't say they are shutting down the #1 each week as that is just false when they are getting the yards and catches that they normally get in a given week (give or take a TD) Well, you just changed the context of my email by removing the included thread. The original thread I responded to said "2 of 7" on shutting down the top receiver of the opposing team. So, congrats on winning the argument I wasn't making. Umm nope because they haven't "shut down" your supposed 6 of 7. Have they not allowed the WRs to go off for their best game of the year? Nope but they hardly shut down the opposing #1 except for (SF, ARI, TEN). Yes they are one of the best defenses I want to stress that but they are not a secondary that shuts down the best wideout and allows them 20 yards each week.
  2. I just got Harvin off waiver and I am rolling with Wilson in my redraft and CANT WAIT for the 2nd half. As for him being responsible I can't imagine the Hawks without Lynch. I don't watch all the games but it would seem he is a big reason why as well with that same "decimated" line that your talking about. Again not watch the games but has it been that bad? if so I need to find SOMEWAY to get Lynch because if their line is going to be that much better he is going to be a monster. I just Lynch would be a little hobbled to get Wilson some more action with the chance to drop back more each game.

  4. You are right, but Americans still have scoreboard over British. ya...... 51 US players and 1 UK player win London its first super bowl, that will get them excited
  5. McFadden is on the rise for trade value. 2-3 more weeks healthy and he will likely being going for a good price. Its all a gamble but I think he is the guy everyone is targeting as he clearly has the most upside for his "price".
  6. Liking McFadden more and more, I am hopeful his bad luck with injuries might be behind him. Hopefully Pryor can break out to take some pressure of the run game and allow them to sustain drives.
  7. Nice catch up the middle for Amendola, almost a TD but he is back out and looking fine.
  8. Ya it was up 30 mins ago but right now when I was looking to switch games it all froze up.
  9. This sickens me that people have to go through so much trouble. Just DROP the price and have everyone pay the same amount. I got mine with Madden but to make people "cancel" their services when they have been subscribers for 10+ years is just crazy! How much can they possibly make off it? I mean I have never heard of anyone paying full price for ST. Also there is a TON of people who get it for free.
  10. Yup all the other programs that have a Freshman heisman winner.... Oh wait there isn't one. Of course they think he is bigger than the team, its their time to cash in to make their program elite unless they screw up. 2-3 years of BCS games will put them on the map for recruits moving forward.
  11. Eli is obviously player B. The comparisons end there though, Sanchez cant even carry Eli's ballbag right now.I forgot Eli was SOOO amazing the first 5 years he was in the league. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=sando_mike&id=3142771http://walterfootball.com/story2007_QB.phpJust a couple articles remind you that Eli was down in the bottom half of all QBs not to long ago when he first was under center. It wasn't really until his 6th year that he broke out, broke the 4000 yard mark and finally became a legit QB to have moving forward without questions each off-season.
  12. Eli Manning and Sanchez are still very very similar: You tell me who you think each player is Player A: 1011/1832 - 11887 Yards Passing (6.5/attempt) - 80 TD (12 rushing) - 68 INT - 125 sacks - 9 4th quarter comebacks - 11 game winning drives - 41 fumbles Player B: 987/1805 - 11385 Yards Passing (6.31/attempt) - 79 TD (2 rushing) - 64 INT - 93 sacks - 9 4th quarter comebacks - 11 game winning drives - 34 fumbles Can you tell a difference? Very similar across the board after their 4th year.
  13. so you did some soul-searching, a cost/benefit analysis, and decided it wasn't worth having a gun in your house, and are willing to cite that as appropriate for the rest of the US population? No. I was confessing that despite how strongly I feel about the gun issues now, I myself even considered buying one. My analysis has nothing to do with the rest of the country. 20 dead 5 year olds should be enough for the rest of the country. And yet people are relentless. That's why I'm seething about this. You don't understand someone like this, wanting to go in and shoot up a school, could still get the gun/ammo and anything else they want.1. There will be a local black market for guns2. People just won't turn in guns3. People will just kill a police officer or someone else that would have a gun for it and then go out and shoot everyone up4. People can in most parts of the country take a 1 day road trip out of the country to get a gunI get so frustrated people most of the anti-gun people seem to try and latch onto events like this.... Events like this still would happen, maybe we would just see someone bring in a knife, or possibly they build bombs. In the end when did we become a nanny state? It seems like the government wants to control my life in every aspect, telling me what I can eat, what I can drink, what I can purchase....
