  1. Pay attention, too, what the Saints do with their offensive line thisoff-season. The interior of the line dropped a lot in quality over the past few years, and opposing teams have gotten consistent ip-the-middle pressure on Brees -- which is Drew's kryptonite. C Jonathan Goodwin has been a mensch for years in the league, but his body is letting him down now. C-G Tim Lelito is much more solid of an option at center, so here's hoping he sticks in 2015. Lelito could also be moved to guard to replace a likely-gone disappointmet Ben Grubbs. Starting to see G Jahri Evans breaking down a bit, but I think he can bring it another season or two. If they can land a Zach Martin type in the first round that could be a great start. Someone who can come in and be effective immediately. Land a pretty good FA lineman as well and this team is still an elite contender. Bad year all around the foundation is still there.
  2. Brees (somewhat) decline was in part because he was down a lot of options. Graham was not his peak self and it clearly showed in his drops and mobility. Cooks was hurt and Ir'd and that had an impact. Colston is done and Pierre was hurt. The passing game had very few consistent and good options.
  3. Here is the Rotoworld post on it.
  4. At 1:11 did Romo go to the beach again? Taiwan knows how to promote.
  5. If true, every single Bills fan will regret everything they said about Marrone. Schwartz? Life is over for Bills fan if that happens.
  6. I feel that Mariota is just another Johnny talent wise. Only a little more humble and quiet. When are some going to learn, the time has come and gone for running QBs in the NFL not named Wilson. Do not compare a college player to a SB winning QB, that would be embarrassing. I like Winston more even though yesterdays game was not his shining moment. Winston had his faults but man I have never seen so many drops in my life.
  7. Concocting arguments that no one made is great way to make an ### of yourself. Please continue. He wants me to change my mind so I did.
  8. If he doesnt play, I dont think the Steelers have a chance. so you're just one of those guys who is wrong about everything in every thread? So you are one of those guys who trolls in every thread? While they could win I dont think they have much of a chance if their MVP caliber back doesnt play. Tate and Harris will make them put 8 in the box like they would with Bell? I dont think so, but then again you hate when others have a different opinion. Continue trolling. I don't troll afaik in any thread a) Pittsburgh is favored despite the knowledge that Bell is likely out or limited so the market disagrees with your ridiculous assessment b) Last time these teams met, Big Ben threw for 340 yards and 6 TD and Bell ran for 20 yards and Pit won by 20 again in direct contrast to your opinion So you are saying Bells absence has no impact? Its ridiculous for me to have an opinion that a team may not have a chance without their MVP caliber RB? OK. I will just let my opinion anger you, I cant do anything about that. The impact is probably about 1 to 1.5 points in the spread. Steelers would probably be -4 or -4.5 if he were healthy. Instead, they are -3. Thats your view, but 2000+ yards and 11 TDs isnt easy to make up. But spreads are all that matter, why play the game? I can't believe I have to explain this to you, but the spread is the most accurate way to estimate how good each team is and Pit is still favored by 3. If you are smarter than the market, you can get rich quickly betting these type of games. I changed my mind from the great persuasion, Bells absence will not be a factor what so ever. His stats can easily be made up by a guy they just signed off the street and a RB who has barely any snaps this year. How dare I ever have an opinion siding with the contrary? They can just throw all day because thats what they did last game and the same thing happens every game. Oh and in that game he rushed for 20 yards, he had 5 catches for 38 yards and a crucial TD. But thats why every RB always succeeds, because they can be swapped out so easily.

  10. If he doesnt play, I dont the Steelers have a chance. I wouldn't go that far. It's been about a month since the Ravens have done anything remotely impressive. They looked about as uninspired as possible the last two weeks. They have been without Ngata. He comes back this week.
