  1. Are you one of the Top 5 people in the world at what you do? Not defending AB's actions, just sayin'. He's playing by different rules than the rest of us because of his talent.
  2. Kind of feels like you're seeing what you want to see here. None of us know how severe the injury is, so I don't think not practicing can be taken as any kind of positive sign. We're not talking about Zeke here, Williams isn't some star vet that routinely gets days off just to keep him fresh.
  3. Incorrect. And hell most definitely serves as a deterrent as well, since no one even knows if it actually exists.
  4. Feel free to explain what you meant. What I gathered from your post is that a criminal is going to break the law anyway, so no point in making stricter laws. If that's the case, why make any laws? Won't criminals just break them anyway?
  5. I've always loved this line of reasoning. If that's the case, why have any laws to begin with? Murderers are still gonna murder people, what's the point in making a silly law against it?
  6. Who have the Packers played in weeks 1 and 2 again?
  7. He might have lost his starting job on fantasy teams, but he's nowhere near losing his starting job in real life. Dude's hurt and played 2 crappy games. He's their franchise QB.
  8. I'm not saying we're gonna get a repeat of Moss, just saying that the team that was always known for spreading it around to its no-name WRs changed when Moss got into town. I just feel like people are over-analyzing the situation. AB is easily one of the best players in the league, and is now catching passes from the GOAT for as long as the NFL allows. Not sure it needs to be more complicated than that.
  9. Someone remind me, what happened the last time a hall-of-fame WR came to the Patriots from the Raiders?
  10. I dunno, as bad as he's been he should get at least a few chances to fall into the end zone against the Jets this week. Man am I glad this news didn't come out yesterday. Had all 3 KC backs, dropped Darwin on Friday but was able to snag him on waivers last night at the 11th spot.
  11. Picked Darwin back up today so like an insane person, I now have all 3. Whatever, we have deep benches so I'm gonna hold on to them as long as I can hoping one can take the job and run with it.
  12. On the bright side, your waiver wire QBs have probably played better than Cam. As an owner I hope he sits this week, he's no good to us or the Panthers playing like that.
  13. At one point, Trump called out Steve Cortes, who serves as a member of Trump’s Hispanic Advisory Council, from the podium. “He happens to be Hispanic, but I’ve never quite figured it out, because he looks more like a WASP than I do,” Trump said. “But I tell you what, there is nobody that loves his country more or is Hispanic more than Steve Cortes.” Oof, Trump talks about race like a tanked grandpa at Thanksgiving. “Nobody loves the Hispanics more. Who do you like more, the country or the Hispanics?” Trump continued. “He says the country. I don’t know. I may have to go for the Hispanics, to be honest with you. We’ve got a lot of Hispanics. We love our Hispanics. Get out and vote.” America 1st? Well, just after the Hispanics. America 2nd!
  14. Fair enough! I admit I'm entirely too worried about winning my fake football championship.
  15. Makes me feel a lot better than my draft mistakes...
  16. I think they're assuming Damien is going to play.
  17. Funny how personally some of us take this game. That's all it is, a game we're trying to win. These guys don't know we have them on our teams. They're not coming over to babysit our children. If your morals won't allow you to have certain players on your team that's up to you, but you're putting yourself at a disadvantage. Not saying I haven't had these thoughts as well. When I saw that Mixon video I said to myself I wouldn't draft him, but at this point if I thought he would help my team I'd take him without a 2nd thought. If you're gonna shun every player who's trash off the field, you're gonna shun a lot of players.
  18. Certainly gonna hold on to him now after his two TDs yesterday. Still not much competition for targets outside of JuJu.
  19. People were worried about him getting snaps yesterday morning, now he only had 4/56/1 on 8 targets. As long as he's on the field he'll be a beast. Brady throws to the open guy. In 2007 that meant 20 TDs for Randy Moss. Antonio Brown will get open.
  20. Smart enough to burn the #1 priority on Hockenson, and dumb enough to leave OJ Howard in the starting lineup because "don't wanna overreact to week 1".
  21. Well I personally don't have the power to impeach anyone, but according to this thread others do. The problem with obstructing justice in public is that you've obstructed justice in public.
  22. When he uses it to obstruct justice, yep.
  23. No, Mueller's report was specifically aimed at this end- for congress to decide whether or not to impeach. And considering the countless instances of the Trump campaign meeting with Russians and then lying profusely about it, yeah I think it's a good idea.
  24. Yeah I never understood this idea...seems to be a GOP talking point that many Democrats have adapted for some reason. Airing all of his dirty laundry in public hearings is gonna help him win the election. Ummm, sure. That makes sense.
  25. Couple years ago Cam had a terrible first few weeks and went on to tear it up the rest of the year. Not saying I'm not concerned, but no way am I getting off this ride so soon. If he looks horrible tonight I may be looking at picking up a #2, but even if he does I'm not letting him go that easily.
