  1. Got Chubb and Flacco, thanks all. Jeffery was snapped up at spot no 1, as was everyone else on my list behind me bar Gabriel.
  2. Oh yeah, that's a good deal for you. Take that
  3. Thanks for your thoughts, i'm interested why you think I shouldn't be aiming for a keeper since ANY player picked up would be eligible to be kept. Alshon Jeffery wouldn't be available in round 14 in next year's draft! Due to this, players on waiver are a valuable commodity as if you find a good long term starter you can set your squad up for years. Players such as David Johnson, OBJ and Kamara are kept at rd 14 value in my league. I've put a claim in on Flacco (good matchups in the next few weeks) but that will be an easy grab, QB's are low priority in the league and hence won't have an issue getting him.
  4. I'm starting Edelman this week, Indy played overtime into TNF and their starting slot CB is out this week.
  5. You are going to have to give up AB if you want Gurley. I agree with others, Mixon is in play with an offer of Thompson/Lesser WR.
  6. I'm in a very competitive league which allows waiver additions to be kept indefinitely for the sacrifice of a final round pick (Round 14). Hence, waiver wire is extremely active in the league. Bench is only 4 spots so bye weeks present a real issue however when it comes to stashing players. This week, i have priority number 2, and following picks are available: Jeffery, Coutee, Chubb, Cohen, Taywan Taylor, Gabriel, Mariota, Flacco Who do you think I should pick up and why? I'm clearly desperate for RB help so i'd thinking Cohen but Chubb would be the better longer term keeper if he hits? Boyd/Callaway from my roster below are waiver additions so in play for keeper next year and I'm checked out on McCoy for obvious reasons. 12 team, 14 Rd keeper league. Players can be kept indefinitely, no special conditions. Lose draft pick for next year per player kept, Max 3 keepers. Full point PPR, 6 points for passing TD, otherwise standard scoring. RECORD 1-3 Fitzpatrick, McCoy (Rd 11 keeper), Bernard, Crowell, Allen Julio (Rd 5 keeper), Tate, Edelman, Funchess, Boyd, Callaway Ertz (Rd 4 keeper) TIA. WHIR
  7. If you can go down to 1 starting RB I'd take the trade personally. You are right you'll go down this year but Howard isn't a transcendent talent like Golladay is, think he massively improves your receiver position going forward long term.
  8. Thanks everyone, I'm clearly getting hungover from last season and Watkins' injuries. Good to inject some objectivity. Thanks again all!
  9. Hi all, looking for a consensus if i can get one? Keeper picks for this year are coming up. The commissioner has changed the league this year to PPR (1 full point per reception), and introduced a flex. So the roster is 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 K, 1 DST, 4 BENCH I read this as a 4 WR league in essence, and am planning accordingly. 3 players can be kept. Antonio Brown and McCoy are no-brainers, but i can't decide between Watkins and Crowder.... Watkins offers high upside/weekly winner potential if healthy but it's always an if, plus he's inconsistent in terms of yards/receptions when he does play. Contract year though so he'll be motivated? Crowder has potential to be very steady in terms of targets this year, which in a full point per reception scoring system could be advantageous. However, does he really have touchdown upside/100 yard game potential? His floor is higher but ceiling is lower. A steady weekly contributor then but not a weekly winner. On balance who do you think I should keep? I'm leaning towards Crowder due to not having the weekly headache of wondering on his fitness but then am I just down on Watkins because he was on my team last year and i'm being coloured by that memory? Would welcome thoughts! Thanks in advance
