  1. As much as I want to ride the Penny wave, I'm still somewhat hesitant. I have the following players : Duke Johnson Jamaal Williams (popped up on the injury report) Darwin Thompson Jaylen Samuels Matt Breida Which player are you starting Penny over in your leagues? Thanks!
  2. Whenever he was on the field, I kept my eye on him to see for this. Physically, he didn't look limited at all, just a couple shots that were inches away from hitting. He got his red zone looks, which was a positive. Like you said, last week was just a crappy game for the Patriots, and as for Gronk, I think the defense will be more focused on him, opening things up for the outside receivers. If Haden plays this week, he'll likely draw Cooks. Sig mentioned that the Steelers have been prone to big defensive lapses the last couple months, which would only mean good things for Hogan. Let's not forget his 9/180/2 he dropped on them last season! *fingers crossed*
  3. For those of you in a pinch at wide receiver and have Sterling Shepard in your lineup, who are you considering starting over him? (Context: 12-team, 0.5PPR and I already have Crowder, Landry, and Zay Jones going) He's in my flex spot right now, but I'm considering the following options: - Patterson / Roberts (OAK) - Watkins (STL) * - I'd prefer not to, because of Peterson - McKissic (SEA) - high floor play? - T. Benjamin (LAC) - revenge game? - B. LaFell (CIN) I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks gang!
  4. Ronnie Stanley, one of PFF's top-graded run blockers, should be good to go tomorrow. This is a nice boost for Collins tomorrow.
  5. Just watching him today, he reminds me of Jamaal Charles a lot on how he gets to the next level. Such a pleasure to watch!!!
  6. I kind of wonder if this is the week Martavis gets a deep ball or two. The Packers secondary is vulnerable to the deep ball, and if JuJu is limited, Bryant may get more opportunities.
  7. Goff will have a bit of time in the pocket this week with Okafor out. Hopefully the Rams exploit the possible absence of Lattimore this weekend, and take some shots. Doctson seemed to produce. Fingers crossed.
  8. Just saw that Collins scored really well in PFF's weekly grades this week. Here's the blurb: Flex O – RB Alex Collins, Baltimore Ravens PFF Grade: 86.6 Elite Stat: Alex Collins broke five tackles on 24 touches this week. The raw numbers don’t make for pleasant reading for the Baltimore Ravens’ running game this week against the Green Bay Packers. Alex Collins carried the ball 20 times and gained just 49 yards, but 45 of his 49 yards came after contact, and he was forced to consistently make moves just to gain positive yardage. He also chipped in with four receptions for 22 yards out of the backfield. It was really an impressive performance, despite Stanley being out.
  9. What are the forums thoughts on deep league backups like Byron Marshall and Travaris Cadet? Given their schedule, they could have legitimate RB2 upside if an injury goes down.
