  1. Avicii's been ill, has cancelled everything on his schedule. link
  2. My new favorite sports book. Pizza right next door, bathrooms right in the sports book, comfortable seating, Perfect. Are they on drink tickets or just free?Tickets. What's the approximate value? I.e. How much to bet to get a free drinkI think it's $100 per. Can't remember though, haven't been since last years wild card round.Do any books on the strip (worth going to) still give out drinks for free? I think Ballagio was the last holdout and they switched this yr. End of an eraPro Amateur tip... Caesars... $5 horse racing bet gets you a drink ticket... buy $10 drinks with it... and if you hit a horse every so often you basically can drink for free. That's worth noting. Back when I was in college and a few years after, my buddies and I would sit in Keno rooms placing $1, $2 bets for good drink service too. Haven't done it in years, so I'm not sure if that's changed as well.

  4. Wifey and I are going to Aria 12/20-12/22. $112/night with a $100 resort credit, which I assume will buy us one round of drinks in that place. She loves her some opulence and I love the sports book there.
  5. FWIW, I have this plan and have been very happy with it. If you don't use many minutes and are in a good t-mobile area, you really can't beat this deal - even includes LTE if you are in an area that has it. Only gripe I have with T-mobile is that when I travel there really seems to be a lot of areas that are EDGE service. Thanks for the endorsement. I'm going to go with it for her and hope her talk mins stay consistently low. She sort of turned her nose up to the GS3, so when I told her it's either a new GS3 or a used iPhone4, she went with the iPhone4. I get why though after she pleaded her case. The girl has a ton of music and apps already on her iPod touch, so it just makes sense to move over to another Apple device just so she's not having to take care of two items that one can do better. My only hesitation is I'm giving up on her Sprint SERO account for this: $40 for unlimited everything. Problem is, once you get a modern day phone, they jack it up to $50/month. BTW, if anyone is wanting to switch to T-mobile, they're offering a $0.99 SIM card right now. Regularly $10.
  6. Is there a better deal for a teen girl than the $30/month T-Mobile deal? Hardly ever talks. <30 mins/month3000+ texts/monthstreams Youtube and Pandora frequently along with frequent social networkingWould this phone work with the plan? (Samsung GS3 unlocked) If so, where can I find a better price, besides eBay? If not, what offers better bang for the buck? She'd prefer an iPhone, but this one is right around my threshold for cost. zip is 85234
  7. Will never forget, but hopefully we've stopped with the what were you doing on 9/11 threads. Wow, you were at work watching coverage on the one ####ty office TV like millions of others? :mindblown:
  8. Check out this video of how the Model S is made. The robots are coming to get us. Especially the evil seat installing robot.
  9. At least Mayer says they're working on the logo diligently.
  10. Thanks Mac, you've given me much to chew on. I just need to map out where all of these districts and places are. Right now, I just know the area as follows: <----Ft Worth ---- Arlington ---- Dallas----> Because of Yelp, Tripadvisor, and even these boards, I've been guilty in the past of overthinking travel rather than just pulling the trigger and being done with it. These guys will be good with decent, non-trendy accommodations as long as drinking and dining options are within a couple of blocks. Off to read up on and map the LaQuinta Henderson now. Thanks GM.
  11. What's the lowdown with the stadium parking? Cheapest parking pass on Stubhub is $62? That seems like some bull####. One of you has to know about a secret lot nearby.
  12. Zaza is sold out, so it's moot at this point. I'm leaning with you on the Cowboy game, but a couple of these guys perceive it as some sort of bucket list type thing. We'll have a rental car mostly because we heard about the lack of public transport to Cowboys AT&T stadium.
