  1. Cobb does a lot more for that offense in GB than just catch passes. Hopefully he stays.
  2. lacy all day long
  3. Yes, you can see all of those. You can't see how much time each player has left in their game, what the game situation is, whether a player's score came from six short receptions or one long TD, and whether the score you just saw on TV has been included yet (which matters because the scoring doesn't update reliably). And there is an enormous amount of white space where this information could be displayed, but isn't. I think we play on two different MFL sites, because everything you've said you don't see, I can. I can see the opponent, time and weather and defensive ranks when I set my lineups. I see how much time is left in the game (well I'd have to do some math because I see where they are in the game), a breakdown of how the points were accumulated and which team has the ball when I look at live scoring on the site. I do have to refresh the page though every so often. Weird. I think he meant his opponents lineup? not the NFL team. I've asked for years as well about being able to submit different lineups for leagues that have double headers. every year it's the same thing, good idea but nothing gets done.
  4. Montana>>>Brady. please stop. vinateri won 2 super bowls and Ty law won the1st one with the rest of the defense (oh and the illegal taping of the Rams practices), not brady. this was the first game Brady actually had good stats in.
  5. this isn't even close to me. Moss came in and changed the way offenses and WRs were playing and being used. The NFL was mostly a running league when he came in, and he was one of the primary reasons that it changed. The rules are so skewed to favor the offense these days. Moss would've gone for 2000 yards and 27 tds. Moss only started 11 games his rookie season as well. I don't want to hear about ODB and had he played 16 games, he didn't. he was out for 4 months with a hammy injury.
  6. Huh? Julio is in his 4th year and had his best season this year and Beckham out scored him by 14 points in 3 fewer games. 6 points in my league, and I don't see anyway that the # targets that ODB had over his 12 games is sustainable. he basically had 115 targets in 9 games. The two games against defensive in the top 10 against the pass no tds, and 13 catches for 201 yards. yes he put up great stats and he is legit, but they played a very soft schedule against the pass this year, and they were always losing and throwing the ball from behind. You are counting it against him that he averaged 100 ypg against top 10 defenses? Did any other WR accomplish that? not counting it against him, just saying his stats were great, but they didn't play tough defenses that's all. they schedule was soft, and their defense sucked. so they threw the ball a ton. his target # don't seem sustainable to me. there is some player every year at this time that gets super hyped up, especially in dynasty leagues. it really adds fuel when a guy helps teams win championships (especially in redrafts). he is great, but I wouldn't put him as the #1 overall dynasty wr, let alone #1 overall dynasty player.

  8. for real, try running a dynasty league for like 15 years. people leave, finding replacements, setting up drafts with people in different time zones, making people happy is a royal pain. collecting payments is another pain in the rear end. As I said before I've never received one, but it would be nice. you know like 20 bucks to take the wife for some grub or to but 1-2 good beers . :-)
  9. I've commished leagues for 17+ years and never really received a tip. it would be appreciated. This is my last year running leagues though.
  10. forgot that Keenan had an extra 1/4 of a season to put those numbers up He did most of that in 13 games (68/1016/9) compared to what Beckham has done in 11. No question Beckham has had an all-time great rookie year, just putting it in context. so beckham had better numbers across the board in two less games isnt really putting anything in contextwell the fact that he couldn't play a full season healthy yet is also a factor as well. let's just ignore his hammy issues kept him sidelined for like 4 months. I don't know if it is a factor or not, but to not have that wear and tear may have an impact as well on his "freshness" ala gordon when he was suspended a few games. he has had a great run, but the hype if getting overboard. comparing him to jordan, come on.
  11. he will be picked early next year because of this run, and some people will avoid luck because of what he did yesterday. that is the game. people acting like ODB is going to continue this pace, when this pace is an outlier is funny also. he isn't going to go for 185 recs, 2300 yards and 39 tds people. he is a solid wr, and might be the next best thing, however, I am not discounting that he had a hamstring injury for like 4 months. I can remember the isaac bruce days.
  12. I'd take dez, ajg, julio and brown over him. I know he has had a great half of football, and he is legit. however, they have no other decent WRs on their team right now and his targets have been very high. Cruz back next year will eat into those targets.
  13. while he has been great the 2nd half of the year, let's not crown him the best career already. OK? I remember people going nuts over hakeem nicks as well, and how did that end up?
  14. No, this is a horrible solution. Championships should not be decided down the stretch by absentee managers. No, this is a horrible solution. Championships should not be decided down the stretch by absentee managers. not sure what you mean by this. set up a schedule and everyone plays each other x number of times. give money out for highest winning %, most points scored and top 3 finishers. has worked great in my leagues. never understood why a win in week 15 was worth more then a win in week 5.
  15. in a keeper/dynasty for sure. redraft - probably no however, why have playoffs? get rid of them and your problem is solved.
