1. I received 3 additional "help" emails today - I'm not sure as to when they were sent as I deleted them immediately, but I checked my email at 9:30 am PST. I received between 3 and 5 yesterday. 2. I'm not sure if the newsletter I receive is because I was a subscriber last year or if I signed up during the off-season. 3. I am a subscriber this year as well.I hope that this information helps you.

I recieved 5 this am.The date/time was Sat. 5:12-6:07 pm est.I do recieve free email updates (I get two of them-must of signed up twice)I am a subscriber to the pay service.

Ok, I know you said post only if you received anything today but I've always had a problem listening to authority ;) Besides, I thought a negative response might be helpful.I received your virus warning message yesterday. That's the last "official" message from you (footballyguys that is) I've received. I did receive 3 more of the "help" messages after your warning but they were all received on 7/19/03. I have received no messages, official or bogus, from footballguys today, 7/20/03.I am subscribed to the email list.I am subscribed to the site. I subscribed to the site last Thursday.Hope this helps.

I don't think your message is negative at all. We more than welcome feedback regarding this matter. In an effort to stop the spread of this virus to our subscribers, we have completely shut down our email lists. This was necessary since access to the list was compromised. As a result, we cannot send email through that list either. You can get an update from the link provided on the main page. It explains what happenned yesterday and also contains a link to some free virus protection programs that should remove the virus is you were infected.www.footballguys.com

Ah, the wonders, and pitfalls of electronic conversation, and once again I prove myself to be a master mis-communicator.I meant negative in the sense that I had not received anymore virus emails today, just the three yesterday. But those three did come in after your warning message that indicated you had done certain things to prevent this so I thought you might be interested in that. I in no way hold you folks to blame for what happened. Coincidentaly, I happen to be co-owner/moderator/responder of a email list at work. It's address was hijacked by one or more of the mass-mailling worms that propogate through the internet. Almost daily I, and everyone else on the list, get an email claiming to be From: this list containing the worm. In fact, the list is receive only, it can't send anything.

Ok, a little bit off the subject, but quite suspicious...I recieved an email last night that was a response to my request for username and password. Only problem is that I did not request this information.Edited to add:Since I just recently activated my a MFL on roids league I am going to assume that is what triggered the email.

Eggs,These are unrelated incidents. The mailing list and the message board are two completely separate entities.

I didnt go online yesterday. I just now opened my email and had 3 emails caught with virus by Norton. I deleted them and didnt look to see if it was today or yesterday.I do receive your daily email.I am a paid subscriber.I am now having trouble opening my email. I dont know if that is coincedence or not.I too am a computer moron and have a better shot at performing heart surgery then understanding computer stuff. :(

Your e-mail was in fact in response to the activation of the MFL on 'roids league.Nothing to worry there.

I received a total of 13 virus laden email from various addresses related to FBGs on Saturday. All the viruses were received by 10 PM EST. I had not received any new ones on the 20th. All were intercepted and stripped of the virus by my ISP. I get the daily emails.I was a subscriber last year. I plan on renewing for this year but have yet to do so.

Yahoo was supposed to completely delete that list. We disabled the list last afternoon. One good thing is that it is blocking the attachments.
