Seeing very little action on the board at this time (4:35am est), I was wondering if anyone was planning on watching the first pre-season game live. I know it will probably show little or nothing fantasy wise, and will be replayed latter, but I just couldn't wait any longer. I'm ready for some football.I was going to post to start the first game thread, but I will be leaving the computer to enjoy the game in the Lazy-Boy with a cold one. Enjoy :football:

 
at this point, I might as well stay up to watch the opening drives with the starters. I'll probably tape it to watch later though.are there any other games this weekend? I'm too lazy to check. Is the HOF game on Monday Night this year?

 
My wife just woke me up (3:50am here) because she knew that I wanted to watch it. I love her. Heh!

West Coaster here. I'll watch for a while, but a full first preseason game is just not watchable for the entire game.

 
I forgot how much I dislike the ESPN football broadcasters :no: Hopefully seeing a hit or two will take my mind off of it. It's good to see football back.

Downgrade the Bucs D just a tiny bit. Obviously, they're going vanilla here, but come on. Conway slight bump, and my pick of Lamont in multiple leagues looking good as a 5th RB at this point. Damn I miss Football.

 
Stop rubbing it in. I'm at work and refreshing nfl.com's gamecenter screen. Not a nice way to watch the game.

 
Very impressive drive...it seems to me like Chrebet was in with first team and not Moss...interested to see how they plan to use Moss...

 
I was thinking that same thing too about them mentioning who Chris Simms' father was...they really cater to the dummies dont they?

I think he might be first team goalline back. Nobody really talks about it, but I could see Jordan becoming the short yardage specialist for the Jets. Definitely hurts Martin's value. I realize how much I miss watching football.
 
Not a bad start for Pitman..he's running like he is being chased by the police....but then he is used to that....

There "first team vs fiest team comment, refered to the Jets wholle drive, not just the goalline play..these guys are clueless..don't make excuses for their overpaid, sorry asses....

More like areana ball at this point...first quarter..and we got 3rd stringers/guys who will will be cut next week on the field..zzzzzzzz
