Well then ...

19.25 - N.Y. Giants - LB Randall Godfrey (SD)

He's said he's coming back for one more year, and I'll get better production from him for his last season than anyone else I can think of that's still available. I'll just have to make LB a priority in this draft (or perhaps the simulated me will do so in 2007).

18.09: Cincinnati (Shake Zula) SKIPPED

It's not funny anymore. HE WAS HERE THE WHOLE FREAKING TIME HE WAS OTC!

It's still funny.

Worst part is that I don't do it purposly. I think from now on just skip me after 10 minutes.

19:28 - Jacksonville select Jake Scott OG

Adding a bit of youth to my experience o-line. He teams up once again with Ryan Diem and at 24 years of age should be a pillar of this franchise.

Started all 16 games for the Colts this year and is one of the most promising Guards in the league

When you make that pick, you have to do it in a Doc Brown from Back to the Future sort of way.

Can anyone take a pm for 19.27?  I have class 11-12.

Hmm. Let's see. I think I'll be here.

:sarcasm:

I'm going to be in a meeting for the next couple hours.

Andy, I pm'd you my next two picks.

20.04 - Denver and 20.08 - N.Y. Giants

If those two players get picked by someone else then skip me and I'll pick again when I'm back online.

19.26 - Chicago - G Zach Pilla

**CHANGED BY BOULDER BOB TO DEVERY HENDERSON**

He probably sucks.

I already took in ####### round 6. He's a stud guard.

Pick again.

Can I play Roshambo with Boulder Bob?

OC/Koya's pick:

20.04 - Denver Broncos - OG Rex Hadnot (MIA)

May be moving to left tackle next year. I like that kind of athleticism for the interior of my line.

Andy's got a list of 5 for my next couple picks. At this point, all I'm thinking about is the rookie draft.

Got 'em.

Would anyone buy into making two picks at a time starting next round?

19.31: Pittsburgh Steelers(Brewer) - Brett Keisel - DE, Pittsburgh

20.02: Pittsburgh Steelers(Brewer) - David Macklin - CB, Arizona

Thanks Andy.

In Keisel we get a great young player who will likely be starting along side Casey Hampton next year as the Steelers defend their crown. I feel confident coming out of this draft with their defensive line in tact!

We really wanted Jason David with our CB pick, but Macklin is good enough to start in our secondary and is still relatively young.

19:05 - Jacksonville select Carlos Emmons LB

Has been one of the most consistent LBs for year. Still has plenty left in him and was willing to play through an I/R injury to get on the field when injuries decimated the LB corp. Should return from his muscle injruy to be a prominent figure

19.27 Carolina Panthers (palmersteel) - Ronald Curry , WR (Oak)

That shouldn't have surprised me. Palmer's the ultimate Tar Heel homer..

Dude, did you see that one handed grab Curry had in the back of the end zone? He's a sick athlete (won the McDonald's All-American Game Dunk Contest, top recruit from his state in football and basketball, nice QB in college, and sick NFL athlete). In his limited time at WR in the NFL, he has shown very raw playmaking ability. He doesn't drop passes (EVER) and can make the big play. His biggest knock at this point is that he's a bit raw on his route running, but that's sure to change with Issac Bruce tutoring him and another year under his belt. Curry is a shorter Matt Jones and a huge threat in the red zone. He's better than Doug Gabriel, and a better red zone threat than Porter. If Curry stays healthy this year, he's gonna put up some big numbers.

Isn't he the one that's blown out his achilles TWICE?

Im a huge Curry fan, but I cant imagine him being anything but a shadow of himself after suffering a second achilles tear.

:lmao:

Is it ok if I use this as my description for my WR3 spot?

Everything I have read on Raiders and non-Raiders sites has been that Curry is expected to fully recover and is penciled in as the #3 WR in Oakland. I don't think the second injury was that bad, but I'm not sure?

My comments:

Butler had the look of a future star before he was injured, and I think he's a steal. I was surprised to find him available this morning.

Coleman was one of a half dozen guards I listed to finish an OL I waited to long to complete. I found some praise from Droughns claiming Coleman was a big part of his success last season, so I went with it.

Jones - I drank the Kool-aid last year, and he's my #3 WR in a young group with great potential.

Manuel - played better than Hamlin after the incident, and his loss in the Super Bowl was very problematic for Seattle. He's defensive QB, very smart, and alongside Mike Brown, I feel good about my safeties.

Not a fan of this, but I would go along with it if the majority want to.
