well I missed Steve smith by one pick.

I took ronnie brown in this league instead of Caddy because I have Caddy in 2 WCOFF sat. leagues and one survivor already, so I wanted to hedge my bets a little bit.

Didn't pick Steve Smith due to injury concerns; didn't pick Chad Johnson due to week 5 bye; was hoping Holt would fall to 2.05 but he went 2 picks earlier.

Taking a QB this early goes against my grain, but I just felt like in this format, Manning was too good to pass up at 2.12.

Duh, big mistake, forgetting I had Manning and taking McNabb.

Was hoping to get Foster at 3.7, but happy with Shockey there. Bush is going to catch a ton and be huge in this format.

1.09 LaMont Jordan RB

2.08 Larry Fitzgerald WR

3.09 Donald Driver WR

I like this team, so far. Much better than my Anarchy 2 one...

Was very conflicted with my 3.09 pick, but I decided to try out Driver, who I think will be the beneficiary of Favre's gun-slinging one last time, and also due to the purging of Walker...

1.13 Domanick Davis - regretted the pick the minute i made it.

2.04 Terrell Owens - love it

3.13 Jamal Lewis - like it, don't love it

meh

1.14 Kevin Jones - best of the rest. Should have opportunity anyway. Time pressed here.

2.03 Torry Holt - my WR1, just based on steadiness.

3.14 Derrick Mason - Value in PPR.

Good start, not great, but the back end in 16 teamers always is.

I like this team a lot and had a hard time deciding between Westbrook and Jordan. I like Westy a tad more in this format, but they are really neck and neck in my rankings. Fitz/Driver about as solid as you can get at the top.

Solid start...tough to be solid at RB picking at 1.14. I probably would have started RB-RB picking at #14.

I'm not particularly high on any of these players in this format.

Lots of risk here...no?
DD - definitelyTO - i know you see a lot of risk with TO, but i'm pretty bullish on him, especially to get off to a fast start.JL - a little, but as the 26th RB off the board, seemed worth it.

Love the LT/Harrison picks...not a huge fan of the Heap pick.
I was considering Santana Moss here as my WR2 instead of Heap. Then I kinda went back & forth between Heap and Shockey. I like the idea of McNair throwing to Heap.

Not sure what to make of this team yet. A lot will depend on the kinds of QBs/WRs/TEs available for my next four picks.

Edit: see post #45 for updated roster.

Just when I was starting to think Benson would slide all the way to me.
I almost took him back at 4.02.I honestly have no idea how to project this guy. Especially since this is PPR.
Even if he only caught 20 passes all year, if he's the clear starter in CHI, that counts for something in the 4th round.
You would have been more disappointed when I would have taken him right before you.

Since I needed another RB, he was the obvious choice for me. Here's hoping he works out. :hey:

I have been surprised with how relatively quickly this has gone. Also, how few chances people have taken. But I guess now that it is getting latter in the draft we will see more of them.

my squad looks bore-ing, but I think they will be effective. I think Moose has a very nice season coming.

I'm am really digging my team right now... a HELLUVA lot better than Anarchy 2...

really surprised Deuce slid all the way to 5.16. I'm definitely down on him this year, but i didn't think 15 others agreed with me :o

and I'm not even that happy with the pick. But I needed a RB2 and I can now just hope for the best. At least I didn't waste a pick like Aaron did. :P

:lol:Everyone knows how I feel about bye weeks in survivor leagues. And they're even less important in cumulative survivor leagues.Edit: updated roster.QB - 7.11 Drew Brees / 7QB - 8.02 Philip Rivers / 3RB - 1.15 Reuben Droughns / 6RB - 2.02 Willie Parker / 4RB - 4.02 Joseph Addai / 6RB - 15.15 Antowain Smith / 5WR - 3.15 Plaxico Burress / 4WR - 5.15 Koren Robinson / 6WR - 9.15 Reche Caldwell / 6WR - 10.02 Michael Jenkins / 5WR - 11.15 Antwaan Randel El / 8WR - 12.02 Vincent Jackson / 3TE - 6.02 LJ Smith / 9K - 16.02 Nate Kaeding / 3DEF - 13.15 Arizona / 9DEF - 14.02 Buffalo / 8I'm liking this team a lot. It's hard to win these things drafting at the 15 spot, but I like that I was able to get a solid RB corp without sacrificing (much) at the other positions. Now I just need to find some value picks at WR and D and I should be very competitive.edit: I like picks through round 11, but my late round choices have been shaky. Probably picked a WR6 and a D2 too early when there were values elsewhere on the board. I couldn't let Antowain Smith fall any further, but it's left me weaker than I wanted through the rest of my roster.

Thanks. I needed a #2 RB, and I went with Martin in round 7, and felt I needed to back him up with Houston NOW. Those two combined should get me at least semi-decent #2 RB production. Sucks having to burn two picks for one position, but with what little is left at RB, I had little choice.

I was deciding between Troupe and McNair...based on the QB run that ensued I'm glad I took McNair. It was hard to pass up Troupe...one of my favorite value picks at TE this year.

Thanks LHUCKS! I was hoping to snag McNair in the 9th...... Good sleeper pick.
