Also, cheapervegas.com has tons of coupon codes. That's where I got the info for the THE Hotel suite I posted earlier.

:blackdot:

That had a nice deal at the Hilton, where I want to stay, but some of my days are blacked out. Dammit.

Hilton sucks.
It has the best sports book in Vegas tough guy.
True, but I like good pools, nice rooms, restaurants, loose poker rooms, and young womens.
The Hilton has great rooms, but I'll admit, none of the other stuff. Also combine the last two thoughts there and get young and loose poker chicks. That's what really makes Vegas fun.

Staying at the Signature MGM Grand, in a one bedroom suite for same price as a crap room at Wynn or Venetian.

I understand, I think. I'm just saying that even the worst room at the Venetian is still something like 700 sq. ft. and pretty darn nice.

Sorry, should have clarified.

Venetian is great, and probably my favorite hotel on the strip.

But for the same rate as a "room" at Venetian, I am rocking a suite at MGM Signature, with kitchen, separate bedroom, living room, balcony overlooking the private pool, for a hundo a night.

Some really, really great deal on that forum, and room shoppers need to check that site first.

Getting pretty pumped about my trip. Found out a bunch of people I haven't seen in years from my industry will be there, so the work days will be tough with a hangover.

Reservations & flights booked.

Leaving 9/21 which is Mrs. SLB's 40th birthday. Our 15th wedding anniversary is a few months earlier and she suggested we renew our vows while we were out there. I suggested she shouldn't be drinking so heavily this early in the morning.

Looking for advice on bottle service. Open to just about any club, just want an idea on cost and get any firsthand accounts. Group is going to be 4-6 guys on a Friday (5/21) or Saturday night (5/22). I figure we don't stand much chance getting in without a table given that group dynamic. My buddies seem to like hanging out a the Palms but the clubs there don't seem to rank as well as others I'm reading about.

What should we expect to spend? How long do we have the table? Any recommendations?

Any idea what is going on in town June 7th and 8th? Hotel and airfare prices are ridiculously high.

Work will end up footing the bill, but just curious as to what the big deal is.

TIA!!!

The WSOP will be going on then. Not sure if that is what is driving the price though.

With a group that size you're looking at 2 bottles in the 300-500ea range depending on the club. Most big clubs will run you about $1000-1200 once it's all said and done (2 Bottles, tip to waitress, tip to host, tip to bouncers).

As said above, $275-500 per bottle and depending on the night, might be required to get 3 bottles with 6 guys. And you should tip the waitress and bouncers on top of that. Also give your VIP host some cash at the beginning as well to ensure you get a great table. You don't want one out of the way.I've gotten bottle service at both Moon and Rain at the Palms. Friday and Saturday night, both clubs are really busy and we've always had a great time. (If you go to the Moon, ask for a table on the balcony.) You get the table for the entire night and you don't need to wait in line. Tell your Host what time you're showing up, meet him at the front and walk right in. Another nice perk is as you're walking past the massive line to get in, wander up to a group of hot ladies and tell them they can skip the line and come in with you. The club doesn't care how many extra hot chicks you bring in with your buddies and you have a table full of hot ladies before you even walk in.Bouncers will keep the knuckleheads away from your table the entire night and will also tell the less desirable woman to hit the road for you. I would skip bottle service @ Moon and Rain. You can get a "hosted bar" with all you can drink Ketel 1 between 11pm and 2am for $75. Much less $ imo. Go to the N9NE website and click around to find it. Deal is good every night.

I'm headed out to Vegas in mid-July. I'm planning a bachelor party and I've been researching things pretty hard.

The best nightclub resource are the forums over on jackcolton.com. If you plan on going to one of those places, check out that website.

As for accomodations, pretty much every place has promotional codes floating out there. They're pretty easy to find. Lots of hotels post deals to Twitter now too. The Hardrock posts a deal every Tuesday. Sometimes its an insane deal, like $25 a night any night(s) to the first 25 to use the code.

Anybody stay at Aria? I've heard mixed reviews. The CityCenter project looks like it's struggling out of the gates.

BTW, Encore's new beach club looks nice. I'll be out there in mid June with a review.

So, don't have time or patience to read through 28 pages here, but appreciate some new thoughts.

A group of GB's are at the very beginning stages of planning a guys trip of debauchery. First thing is locking in a date.

Looking to head down later in the year, October thru December months.....what are some good weekend date windows for us to start considering? Looking for a time when flight/hotel prices are more reasonable, but still some action goin' on.

I have no idea, but there are package deals out there that pop up from DFW that give you basically free trips there.

Just wanted to plug the Mirage Player's Club card. I dig the Mirage and always try to swing by there. Last time I was there I played in a couple poker tournaments, played a little 4-8, and my wife played some .25 slots. We didn't gamble a ton and didn't spend a lot of money.

I called today about rooms for the end of June for Thursday and Friday night. "Standard" rates are $135 for Thursday and $235 for Friday. With my Player's Club Card my rate is $44 for Thursday and $66 for Friday.

For some reason I never used players club cards until recently. Now I don't gamble without them. There's some pretty good deals out there if you use them.

Like many other things Downtown, there's the Golden Nugget and there's everything else. The sportsbook is not a palace like some of the ones on the Strip, but is vastly superior to the elementary-school desks at most other downtown sportsbooks. Also wanted to second the motion on players' cards. I was in Vegas for 14 nights in 2009, and paid for three of them.

My buddies and I want to watch the US/England game at Bellagio but have NO idea how early to get there. Games start at 4:30am and the US game is at 11:30. During the football season, you need to be at Bellagio between 7-8am to have any chance at seats. We are aiming for 7am because we are worried about crazy Brits camping out at Bellagio. Anyone have any idea of what to expect???

I'm considering going to Las Vegas on Friday, September 24 through Monday September 27th. In the past, I have found non-stop flights from Chicago to Las Vegas for $320 and less. For some reason, this weekend is extremely expensive - I have found some United non-stop flights for $370, but the times aren't very good (did see one for $390 that leaves at an earlier date).

Any suggetions on finding some cheaper flights? A lot of the one-stops (which I really don't want to do) are in the $400+ range. I'm not sure what's going on that weekend in Vegas, but the prices are pretty high for that particular weekend.

So, if anyone has ideas on how to find a flight that's not as expensive, I'm all ears.

So I'm headed to Vegas for July 4th with some buddies. I haven't been since 2002.

Basic agenda:

Arrive Saturday 8am

Tee time - TPC Las Vegas 10:15am (anyone played here?)

Check into MGM after golf

Gamble/Drink

Stadium Club (emerils place) UFC (got a reservation already)

After that it's just gamble/drink excessively/chill at the pool.

Any other suggestions? Anyone been on july 4th weekend? Gonna be busy - table limits all jacked up?

After reading all of this thread over the last few days...and taking very sketchy notes...here is my list - might be entertaining...

1. Poker at Flamingo – lots of fish

2. Hoffbrauhaus?

3. O’Sheas

4. Saphires, Spearmint Rhino, Seamless (after hours, cheaper)

5. SW at the Wynn or Circus Circus steak

6. Carnival Court – for beer, hanging out

7. Pubcrawler.com

8. iMagine

9. Travelzoo Vegas Deals

10. cheapovegas.com

11. Stadium at Palozzo for game watching

12. Hilton & Bellagio sportsbook – free drinks

13. Burger Bar – best burger??

14. In and out burger

15. For the thrifty, Bill's has 99 cent Newcastle drafts, O'Sheas has dollar Guiness drafts, and Royale still has the $1 Michelob special

16. Bar at the back of sportsbook at MGM – huge beers (buy one get one free?)

17. www.horsewagering.net

18. yardhouse?

19. sit n gos at treasure island suck

20. allvegaspoker.com

21. $2 dollar bills

22. www.jackcolton.com

23. http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/travel-dis...5?newest=1#last
