As funny as that is, the truth is, yeah....sort of. We stopped having fun as a couple and started drifting in different directions. She always waited for me to grow up and I never really did. I'm a great dad, but a horrible husband. So I'm told.

I'll openly admit to being the very same thing GM. I'm a terrible husband and a great father. But I'm ok with that. I can, and have found a new wife. I could find another one if I ever had to or wanted to. I cannot however choose to be someone else's father. I screw that up and it will haunt me for the rest of my life.

The latest.
Ultrasound went great. Got a 3D pic of the face, very cool. Everything looked good.
She does have one less vessel in the cord then they'd like. However, everything looks normal and they're not too worried about it.

Seeeriously consider getting a paternity test without her knowledge after the baby is born. EVEN IF you say you trust her, do it to either a) remove any doubt or b) get the truth. Personally, I would not be able to move on the way you have. You are a better man than I for it, or have cooked up the greatest fishing trip EVAH!

Haven't made a decision on this one yet. If I don't do it, there will be small nagging feeling that may last my entire life. It won't consume me, and it won't affect my relationship with child #3. However, If I do it and it turns out it's not mine, would I abandon the kid? Knowing Steve, I don't think he'd jump right in and take responsiblity for this. So the one who really ends paying the price if I walk is the kid. It'd be tough to walk away. Avery

trip when the OP considers the possibility of his wife having an illegitimate child to be "an interesting hypothetical".I don't know that I could ever consider raising a child that my wife gave birth to because the guy she cheated on me with to get pregnant isn't a good enough father. trip though... it will be interesting to see what you come up with next. The wife is pregnant 9 months after the original incident was pretty impressive. Seriously: 
In concept I hate trips, and I wish Joe would ban people for them. It's not like real life isn't interesting enough such that people have to concoct fictional stories to keep the FFA interesting.That said, sometimes the

Let's say it's not your kid and you let her get away with it, she will do it again. It's like you gave her a free swingers card and your not invited pass. BTW, yes it will consume you when the kid hits his/her teens and says "I HATE YOU DADDY" as they always do.

I hate this thread for so many reasons
1) - If as so many believe this is the intent it just freakin sucks
2) The fact of a wife cheating gets me just disgusted; because there is no way I could handle this as well as MIYH
3) everytime I read it my stomach turns upside down just thinking about it

There is no way that I wouldn't get a paternity test. Easily justifiable to the wife..."this will put is matter to rest once and for all for me honey"

I am pretty sure that if he insists on the paternity test his marriage will be over no matter what the result.If it comes back that MITYH is not the father then the marriage is finished. If it comes back MITYH is the father then she is never going to forgive him and the marriage is toast (and he still won't know for sure if his wife cheated).

As stated before in the thread, once the baby is born, test its paternity without his wife's knowledge.She never needs to know that he needed to know.

In some cases, it's possible to find out you're not the father without a paternity test using only blood types.
Find out mother's blood type and baby's blood type. You may or may not be able to eliminate yourself.
For example: 2 Os can't have an A, B, or AB
