Lebron James (Cle) over 43.5 points+rebounds+assists

King is currently O 42½ -110 at BetUS.Is someone in the know on the under, or should I still play it?Edit: Oh well, I grabbed the over at 42½.As for the Roy prop, I'm not dumb enough to go against GooRoo, so I'll sit that one out and just watch it. I do like him to go over though.
I have some at 42.5 at betus as well. It is not someone in the know, that's where the opened it and thats where it sits. Good luck bud!
This is a joke. He's gonna hit this number by the end of the 3rd Q. Thanks Goo!
Yeah but someone needs to tell Brandon Roy to rest up and take some time on the bench. he needs to slow down a bit
Thank goodness he's shooting so poorly.

ughh, what did Roy hit a 3 pointer with 19 seconds left or something? Arghh, I am certainly never going to be a Brandon Roy fan.

quick edit: I am not going to hate Roy until GooRoo picks him again and he wins me back some of this money he cost us.

Those are tough to swallow. The guy plays poorly, shoots 26% for the game, realistically the game is out of reach with 19 seconds left and he hits a kinda fadeaway triple with a hand in his face. 5-5 on the night. Garbage loss with Roy, Paul assists was tough because he didn't play 80% of the 4th q, and I felt Yao should have covered. Coulda shoulda woulda been 8-2, but 5-5 in the books. On to tomorrow...

Yep. But if it makes you feel any better, he missed about 4 bunny layups during the game. Should have been done with quicker.

I've decided to follow only GooRoo props which contain the word "OVER"... it's so much more fun rooting for overs.

yeah definately feel like sweating bullets here trying to hold the guy down and being upset because they keep him in the whole time. It is funny because i haven't watched the NBA since Iverson left Philly, but with these prop bets the NBA may owe you guys something because you may have brought a fan back

Yeah, I'm half-kidding.

But it is hard rooting for guys to NOT score, you know? It's almost better to not even watch the games with the under props.

Gotta admit, betting props on the NBA is far more enjoyable than betting spreads/totals.

Thats funny, I know exactly what you mean. I didn't watch a second of the Cleveland game, I look at the gamecenter, see its tight with under a minute, dial it in with exactly 48 seconds left, see Roy miss a triple, assume its over, nope theres a foul, here comes Roy again with a tough baseline triple with a hand in his face with 19 seconds left. We battled for 48 minutes to keep this guy down, by all accounts he played like ####, and we lose with seconds left. You're right, no more unders.

Back in '01 or '02, I was watching the pregame show for the Hornets playoff game, and Jamal Mashburn got hurt in warmups. I had my cpu out, and instantly threw all $450 in my kittscasino acct on Baron Davis over 17 pts prop.

I was pumped. Davis was the 2nd leading scorer for Charlotte and was going to get 10+ more FGAs with Mashburn out.

Baron picked up 3 fouls in the first 5 minutes, Charlotte got blown out and he didn't even play the 4th quarter. Only game during the Hornets playoffs that year that he scored under 17.

I'd say the most popular among those in this thread are Sportsbook, BetUS, The Greek and Bodog.

Devin Harris +2' +100 pts over Paul - they have this line flipped around. It's at sportsbook - I already got down plenty.

<_< I've got Devin Harris at 17 and Paul at 22.
Did I miss something here?
Can't help unless I know how you came up with your numbers and what angle(s) you used if you used one.
I just used PPG for each of them. Had I of known West was out I would not have played it. Nonetheless, I don't think West is worth a 5+ pt swing to CP.

Short card tonight. Two games, both of them on TNT.

I like Orlando to beat the Celts, but not willing to lay 4-.

Watched the entire Wizards/Kings game last night. The Kings are an AWFUL basketball team, and their offense won't remind anyone of Paul Westhead's Loyola-Marymount teams, but they put up 107 on the Wiz. At times it looked like a layup drill. I honestly think the Lakers could score 140 if they felt like it, but they often play down to their competition. So as a matter of principle, I cannot give 14 points to Washington, a team which at least can score points. Leaning Lakers team total O 111.

I wouldn't lay 14 either. This Laker team is not clicking on all cylinders and they played last night as well. Kobe's dislocated finger is probably all blowed up today.

Yesterday 2-2

YTD 8-2

Kevin Garnett over 9.5 rebounds @ Magic ( - 120)

I think the Magic keep this close which means Garnett should play alot of minutes, which should result in about 11 -12 boards

Hedo Turkoglu under 23.5 points + assists

In the last meeting he scored 9 of his 20 points in the 4th quarter against Boston's second and 3rd stringers in a Boston blowout.

They are up. Click on "game of the Day" when you go to the NBA page. It is the Celtics/Magic props. I saw Nelso has a matchup prop against Rondo, but there could be more.

i took

Kobe Bryant (Lakers) Total Points+Rebounds+Assists - Over 39.5 (-125)

Player to Record More Points+Assists

Rajon Rondo (Celtics)

Jameer Nelson (Magic) -2.5 (-130)

they seemed like logical picks, but i didn't base this on much. and the odds sucked, but i figured they seemed safe enough.

Call me a sucker but I'm playing Orlando -4.5 tonight. They've got the revenge factor going for them after Boston ran up the score back in December. The Celtics also played last night, whereas Orlando has had 4 days to do nothing but rest and prepare for this one.

no hard feelings here GooRoo, but you have me nervous with this whole interview thing. We got a sweet thing going, and we're going to need to let the interviewer know that you are going to need sufficient time during the day to prepare for these prop picks. i got no problem making that call if need be.seriously, good luck with all of that

seriously, i was checking in online every once in awhile, and i saw he was 1 for 9 at one point. i see he has 13-3 now and Rondo has 9-2 so i feel like Jameer will pull through for us, but my man got me a little nervous at first.

and by the way Raider, i read that thing you posted a bit back about the story of the local bookie. I hope that wasn't a story about you, that guy sounded kind of miserable. i used to run a book years and years ago, so it was kind of funny hearing his lifestyle. i was nowhere near as into it as he sounded to be, but having to catch up with people who give you all sorts of excuses gets old fast.

The Nelson bet was WAY more difficult than it needed to be.

That bookie story was not about me. I found it online and thought it was interesting, so I wanted to share. My bookmaking life lasted all of two months. I started taking bets during football season several years ago. Through word of mouth, I had about 30 people calling me. It wasn't gonna make me Donald Trump, but it was a nice stream of cash. Anyway, one Sunday morning a guy calls me and says "I'm a buddy of Steve's and he said I could send some action through you." Steve was a customer of mine, but he hadn't called yet that day. I had always told my guys if they knew anyone who wanted to play... have them call me. So I said "sure" and took his bets. He won about $400 that day, IIRC.

Well, he never called me again (after WINNING 4 bills, no less), and Steve said he never heard of the guy. :banned:

I closed up shop immediately. F that. The state in which I reside is very vigilant about prosecuting bookmakers. You see bookies all the time in the newspaper after they get pinched. The way I figure it, they found out about what I was doing through either a rat or a phone tap, so they called me themselves that Sunday. Thank God nothing ever came of it. I like my freedom too much to mess with that crap anymore.

Yikes, that would have really been horrendous getting busted for a $400 bet. That is a pretty weird story though, I wonder what would have happened had he lost and you would have had to collect. Maybe that was where they intend to pinch you, sure does seem strange to make a call to a bookie you don't know, win all your bets, then not get a hold of you again. I can't even imagine having the local law enforcement worried about local bookies, geez. I got quite a few buddies who are cops and more than half of them make bets most sundays, and from what they have said, the only person who is doing anything wrong is the bookie, and that is only because of the juice that is added. if the guy lost all his bets, and you only collected $400, from what these guys have always told me, they legally couldn't bust you for anything. Either way, good instincts on getting out

Sportsbook still has that entire game pending. I maxed out Brockman over 10.5 rbs at the last second and both are pending. Talked to an operator on Live Chat, told him what I thought about their grading department about an hour ago....still pending. Absolutely the worst grading department in the industry, bar none.

I have a second here so I'll post a little early today, hopefully there hasn't been as much line movement...?....

First let me give a little info on how I do this. I 'cap each player and make the line on what I feel it should be based on all of the data that I analyze. It's pretty remarkable how close I get on the majority of the lines, but I do have discrepancies on some obviously. To be a play, the discrepancy must be off by 3 pts for total points scored. The ":play" scale is adjusted lower for things like free throws made, rb's, assists, etc. I will note if the numbers don't support a play and it is a gut feel.

Numbers support these plays:

Stojakovich over 15.5 pts

Vince Carter under 20.5 pts

Bosh under 7.5 ft's

Numbers almost support this play (2.4 pts differential) + gut feel

Thornton over 17.5 pts

Numbers do not support the play at all (17.2), complete gut feel

Iverson over 17.5 points

I have a few plays in the Cleveland game that I will dedicate a post for with my numbers vs. the lines, its astonishing....either I'm WAYYY off or the lines are trash.
