Here is a link to our mock. I run about 5 or 6 of these yearly. This year it was suggested we start one before the NFL drafts and use dummy players to hold spots for the rookie picks. Then we will draft the rookies in May to set the rosters complete for a full rounded draft.
What this will do is allow practice early for a rookie draft as well. Many of you have started drafting real money leagues this way already and it is similar to that concept.
Basic Rules Price FREE
12 Teamer
Scoring would be based on a 1PPR HP Scoring league.
Starting lineup 1QB 2 RB 3 WR 1TE 1Flex 1K 1D
4 hr Timer (will shut off during the night, but picks can still be made)
Predraft- but if you miss your pick and time out the commish will make a logical pick for you to keep the ADP in fair order.
(no computer picks) We dont want a team to have 4 QBs by round 5 LOL.
How to draft the rookie picks-------
If your turn is at 3.05 and you decide you want rookie pick 1.01 you would draft a dummy player (Mark Brunnel) at 3.05 and in the comments write that it is holding rookie 1.01 for you. Again if the next player at 3.06 would like rookie pick 1.02 you would draft Jake Plummer and insert in the comments he is holding 1.02 rookie pick for you.
Then in May we will hold a rookie draft to replace these dummy players with the rookies and your roster will be complete. It will give you practice at a mock rookie drat also, so you really get 2 mocks for one.
I have 4 open spots. Rest are full. Intent is to draft fairly soon after the league is full.
