wouldve taken him 2 spots ahead of you if he didnt have the same bye as gonzo and deangelocutler with a week 5 bye was pretty enticingdont want my qb1 out those killer weeks when theres 7 teams on a bye
 
I don't like the risk, but the upside is worth it if I can pair him up later with a solid backup QB

He was second on my list behind Marshawn Lynch at my previous pick. Nice to get him on the way back.

Damn...he was sliding in some of the other drafts...was targeting him next round...nice grab. One of my value plays this year.

If you were targeting him, you would have had to take him with your last pick at 5.09. He's normally gone mid 5th round and his ADP this year in all leagues is 5.07. He really only fell in SSL1 to 6.02 and that was the furthest. To think you might get him at 6.08 was a complete longshot.

Great pick. After Roy Williams, he was the highest rated WR left on my list at my last pick. I seriously could have swapped them. I'm really surprised how few WRs went in the last two rounds after the WR run early, although I guess everyone decided to pounce on the RB/QB/TE talent that slide until now.
 
:( I was trying to avoid Bengals but now end up drafting 2 in a row thanks to the shortage at clear RB starters.

Another guy I was shocked to see still around. I'd almost certainly have Coles or Evans on my team if I hadn't gone 3 WRs early. Great pick.
 
B-fred.......after you edited the 2nd post with Tex's pick of Kevin Walter, you never went back to the 1st post to edit the WR #'s.....ie: MasterShake's selection of Donald Driver should indicate WR27 instead of WR26, and so on.

Just a helpful heads up......

i'm out for the weekend. i ment to get a list put together but it didn't happen. if it gets back around to me, just give me the highest ranked RB on FBG rankings at 7.14 and the highest WR at 8.03. Not ideal, but i don't want to hold it up.

Crabtree was a man among boys at Tech. it will be interesting to see how his game translates to the next level. you could be pleasantly suprised.
 
Damn...my WR list was killed. Based on the other drafts, I was planning on Mason, Coles, Crabtree, Avery or Driver (and for a brief second thought Evans might keep sliding) being available. Last on my list is the guy I was hoping wouldn't be there. But here he is staring at me like Brady Quinn on draft day.
