I just wanted to post about a few upcoming Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) leagues.

The FFPC $150 "Post-Memorial Day Classic" is scheduled to draft live, Wednesday, May 27th, at 9:00pm Eastern. 5 spaces are currently available, but this one will sell out.

The FFPC also offers our Main Event with a $75,000 Grand Prize, $8,000 in league prizes, limited entries of 300 teams. Our live draft is in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace and we offer two online Main Event drafts as well. Entry fee is $1400 per team, and the entire Main Event Prize Pool will (for the 2nd straight year) be placed in an attorney escrow account for the ultimate on fantasy player protection. We currently have over 100 teams registered, after only getting 180 last year. The FFPC will sell out this year, so don't miss out on the fun. The FFPC has also launched a Draft Experts Terminator Tournament, with 26 round drafts, and optimized scoring but with a twist. Each week, the fantasy team owner needs to "terminate" one of his players from his roster, never to return again. As the weeks go by, your team gets smaller, and the drops get harder. And don't forget to drop a player, because if you do, your team is "terminated". The entry fee is $350 and the grand prize is $5,000 based on only 60 entries. Payback percentage is 85%. Just an FYI, I really enjoyed the Genesis satellite earlier this year. The one thing I found the most interesting was that there was a LIVE commish on STAND BY. I had a question in the draft and hit the Call Commish button. Within seconds the draft was PAUSED and the Commish asked for my question. Once answered, the draft resumed. I don't recall ANY league where this was so easily accomplished.

Mark, you are a the 77s master, no doubt. But you did miss out on League 7 though.... :( Seriously, we've had 7 leagues go off in the last 11 days so they are generating a lot of interest. Anyone who wants to get into a draft now and doesn't want to spend too much dough, the FFPC 77s are for you.

We're currently working to fill our 8th league so jump in anytime.

I'm in 7.. Giving it a whirl....Heavy RB pull with the potential for 4 Starting RB's... I kinda winged it probably should have looked for prior drafts, I wonder how people adjusted from league 1 to 7...

Just a heads up - we currently have 2 spots one for a LIVE Draft this Friday, July 17th at 9:00pm Eastern. It's a $150 Entry Classic Satellite with the winner receiving Free entry into the 2010 FFPC Main Event, including Event Fee ($1525+ Value) or a cash option of $1500

Details: This is a 12 team Classic Draft - 20 rounds, with FFPC scoring. This league DOES have free agency and lineup setting and is NOT a DraftExperts format. This is a "winner take all" league, which will award a FREE team to next year's FFPC main event. If entry fees or events fee increase in 2009, this league winner will not need to pay anything additional.

In this league there will be no head-to-head matchups, just total points scored for the 13 week regular season. Six teams will make the playoffs (playoff teams can still get free agents into week 16), and #1/#2 seeds will get a first round bye. Weeks 15 and 16 will be the semis and finals to determine the league champion.
