No way to make this 24 teams too?

Also, lay out mandatory simlive for me...I can do a couple of games most nights, is that enough?

1. We struggled to get 24 teams in the Koya Invitational. I say 12 teams is fine since that might be the most that we can get that is willing to SimLive.2. That'll be what I do probably.

If there's enough interest we can expand the # of teams (and the draft pool as needed), but I'm not expecting it.Mandatory doesn't mean every game live or anything, just want to make sure people who are in plan to play live. WIS has an option where the computer doesn't sim any games for two weeks so you can get ahead on live play, and we will be using that.

In. I need a league where we can talk baseball and not be forced to ##### about Mr.Meltdown winning because of rolls.

You of all people should know that even the luckiest sum#####es can win the World Series (see Florida Marlins, 2006 St. Louis Cardinals).Aren't you a Mets fan? Do I need to remind you about 1969 and 1986?

Pencil me in as a maybe.

As in, if you end up with 13 people, I'll drop no problem. If you end up with 11 and need one, I'm in.

That's 12 so we might as well start rolling. If anyone else is dying to get in, they could take Dr. D or Frost's spot.

We'll use RPG library this time.

Roll 10d100 + 0 and sum them all, 1 time. High roll picks first. Send to bensanders@gmail.com for verification. I'll send mine to wisruthroll@gmail.com if anyone wants to make sure I'm not cheating.

I sent my roll to "myself" at wisruthroll@gmail.com while I also sent a copy to the "GM" at bensanders@gmail.com. I think most everyone here has access to wisruthroll and that way, everyone can see that there's no cheating involved.

Not bad. Still wont net me the top pitcher.

are we allowing clones?

in other words, if someone picks a player from 1986, can someone else pick the same player from 1987?

I suggest, out of respect for the WIS process, that we hold off on this until the current WIS season is over. We usually take a few month break in between drafts anyway.

That's why I called this a side project and didn't number it WIS 13. This is not ***OFFICIAL***. It's a separate thing for  who want to play more often than we have been. Less hassle, no bickering about rules, just a quick draft and a ton of SimLive. If this is blasphemous, we can wait or stop or whatever.

I'm cool with it, I love SimLive. Just didn't want interest to die in the current league because 16 of us are jumping into this.

 I don't know about you guys, but I want a new draft to start as soon as the old one is finished... I wouldn't be opposed to being in 2 or 3 of these at a time (as far as seasons actually having games being played)...

Uh, I think I rolled correctly. Not sure why we switched servers to one that makes you roll 10 times, but:

13, 82, 42, 32, 71, 10, 50, 53, 92, 32

SUM: 477

Respect for WHAT process? One that involves waiting months to do something which has no chance of giving a level playing field whatsoever, rendering all the time waiting and drafting moot? Seriously. At this point, the regular sims are beyond losing luster. Its like, why even bother? At least this will be a legitimate competition and not something where chance dictates more than skill. F' the side project, this is a REAL sim, which will actually matter.
