I struggled with the choice of Schaub or Romo with my last pick.
I don't enjoy coupling players from the same team on my fantasy squads. My hand was forced here. Eighth round! Matt Schaub?!? I think he avgeraed 20+ points a game last season. Really? yes. 8th rounder racking up 20 pts a week. Ill take it. Im fairly happy with my team right now. My strategy is working to plan. Take solid players with high floors with the occasional outburst of monster numbers.
Evans is the only player who doesn't have a high floor. He is going to be my weekly boom put me over the top player. And on his down weeks hopefully my team stays the course and my low week should be higher than most other teams low weeks.
This strategy has kept me a float for years in both ppr and nonppr. My teams are usually closer to the front and middle more often than not.
I still like Romo to produce. I hate the fact TO is gone. Definitely not addition by subtraction for the Cowboys. Witten will now be double covered until a wr or two step up their game. This bothers me because I love Witten and like Romo. Both guys are going higher than they should. Romo's adp has fallen weekly. At the same time Wittens ADP is strong in round 4. Which is odd to me. Oh well. Mini rant.
Romo in round 7 is perfect value.
